24.01.2022 Hey team, Hope everyone is keeping safe and well in this time of uncertainty. Reminder that trainings are back on every Monday from 6-8pm at the lower playing fields. You will need to register for training of which the event will be available soon. 2 Things 1) the Centre for Sport and Social Impact (CSSI) is running a survey to identify challenges and problems we face in these COVID times. Participants will receive a $50 Coles/Myers gift card. 21.01.2022 Hey everyone!! Winter comp is finally here! It will run for 8 weeks starting on the 22nd July. Fees are unknown at the moment but we will let you know ASAP... La Trobe Touch Club membership is required in order to play. We put a previous post on this page a few months ago on how to sign up . So If you are keen to finally play some competition please fill out the EOI attached. 20.01.2022 While waiting for Touch Football to resume, why not complete your Level 1 referee course online? If you register before 12th June, you can score yourself a 50% ...discount! But it's a secret - to get this code, you will need to email [email protected]. For the low price of $22 (usually $44) you will gain access to the online training materials, and a live-streamed presentation, to complete the theory component. You will also be able to enrol in a practical sessions once normal Touch Football activity resumes, which can be completed at your normal Touch Football competition. 18.01.2022 Important Updates Surrounding COVID-19 Unfortunately all activities surrounding the touch club will stop at the moment due to the corona virus. Sale has been cancelled, and Latrobe Sport are no longer allowing us to train on their fields until the 28th of April. However this date is subject to change, and we will let you know within the coming months when we will be able to train regularly again.... Our winter competition usually starts towards the end of May. We will let you know closer to this time whether the season will be going ahead or not. If the season does get cancelled, we can refund memberships and take back jerseys for anyone who has wants a refund. Obviously this is not great news, but hopefully later in the year we are able to get things up and running again! If you've got any questions, please feel free to send us a message

16.01.2022 The event is up to register for training tomorrow night! If you put in an EOI for winter comp please come to training if you can. We will be announcing teams and fees for the season . This information will also be emailed to you aswell if you cant make it. Also if you live in a restricted suburb at the moment, you arent allowed to come to training unfortunately as per la trobe sport rules. 15.01.2022 Training is back on for 2020! Its tomorrow night (02/03) from 6pm - 7:30pm at the lower playing fields, with some free pizza afterwards . All new players interested in joining the club should definitely come down tomorrow night to see what we are all about! If you are confused where we train, our Vice President Jon will be waiting outside the library from 5:35-5:50pm and can walk you down to the fields.... Hope to see a lot of old and new faces down there and to have a cracking start to 2020 touch!

14.01.2022 Information on 2020 Touch Club Membership! New players: Becoming a member of the touch club will mean you receive a jersey to play in for our upcoming tournament and competitions, and the winter and summer competitions will be cheaper for you! The cost is $35 for la trobe students, and $40 for non-students. The bank details are below to pay, please write your full-name in the description of the payment. Once you've done this then please fill out the attached EOI, and then you... are set! If possible please get your membership paid and EOI filled in as soon as possible, as we are bulk buying jerseys very soon. Returning Players: Membership fees are required annually, so all returning players will need to pay either $35 for students or $40 for non-students. You will either receive another jersey, or we are considering other merchandise instead. Information on this will be posted in the near future, so look out for this. 14.01.2022 The touchies had a smashing first session of the year back on Monday. Lovely to see so many new faces . We will be training on the aforementioned day from 6pm onwards throughout the year unless otherwise stated. 07.01.2022 Hey everyone. Its been a long time sinced we've posted in the group, but we've got some exciting news! We are gonna try have our first training session next monday (8th june). La trobe sport have given us the all clear to train however we must be in a couple groups if we have more then 10 people rock up to abide by latrobes policies. 20 people maximum can come to training at a time. This may alter how training is run potentially meaning we will have shorter sessions. Really d...epends how everyone is feeling during training No details have been released yet on when winter comp will run, however getting some fresh air, catching up with friends and getting a bit of exercise is probably something we all need after being indoors for the past few months Everyone will be required to RSVP every week that they are coming to training through revolutionise so latrobe sport and the club are able to keep track of everyone incase a case of corona happens. The link to RSVP is below and will allow you to do so after 10pm tonight. Also it probably goes without saying but if you are sick please do not come to training as a safety precaution.
