12.01.2022 Such a great reminder for us to check in with our daily habits and routines and making sure they are aligned with the things that are important to us (values) because if they aren’t then they're leading us in an unhealthy direction. I read about a simple yet effective exercise for doing this, which is to make a list that includes "moving-toward" values like #happiness and #success and a list of "moving away from" values such as anger, boredom, sadness and worry. It'...s helpful because when you can see what you value next to what you are wanting to actively avoid it can then help you create a clearer picture of how your goals & values align! If there is anything I can thank COVID for it's that it gave me the time (and tests) to asses and adjust parts of my life, particularly my daily habits & routines. Then, all of a sudden, your baby arrives & while you’re already juggling a tiny human & second guessing every single decision you make, along with getting used to the changes to your body, eating differently, not sleeping, tackling breastfeeding and pumping milk you’re also shedding hair like a German Shepherd.
