16.01.2022 Response from the president to the current events involving COVID19 and the La Trobe University Choral society; Due to increased quarantine and risk of spreading the virus COVID19 it is with a heavy heart that we, the committee, have decided to follow the advice of the DHHS, the University and the La Trobe Student Union in making the very difficult decision to suspend rehearsal until further notice. With most events being postponed until June at the soonest it is no longer s...afe or feasible to run rehearsals and eventually the semester 1 concert in the dedicated manner that we always do, however this concert and rehearsals will be rescheduled for semester 2 this year provided things settle down and rehearsals are officially safe again. In the meantime we hope all our members stay safe and encourage our members to still learn music and sing as well as stay in touch with your fellow choristers to keep up each others morale. We have set up community services in order to allow our members to keep in touch in both the ways of our private members facebook page and a new discord server (coming shortly) for our members to enjoy and have the ability to chat with each other from the comfort of their own homes.
