21.01.2022 Last week The Laughter Clinic once again had the honor of being a part of the Triumph Over Trauma program run by 4Aussie Heroes. We would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the sacrifices made by those who choose a life of service to their country and their communities. We will remember them.

18.01.2022 In conjunction with our partners at Griffith University we will absolutely be submitting a research proposal in this round of funding. Our research question will be along the lines of... "Should increased use of humour and laughter be considered as a protective factor against depression and suicide ideation?"

These people are clearly already under an immense amount of pressure, and you're not helping!!! Like it or not, they deserve our respect, no matter what your political persuasion, these people need to be respected, as they are obviously doing the absolute best they can given these, (and I know we're all familiar with the word) , unprecedented events. Let them do their job, it's in all of our best interest

10.01.2022 In October of 2016, Mark McConville was contracted by Griffith University to deliver his Laughter Clinic Keynote Presentation to all 5 Griffith campuses during Mental Health & Well-Being Week. This news footage was taken at the Gold Coast campus and really gives a great insight into The Laughter Clinic and Mark's work in the field of Suicidology.
