15.01.2022 A rustic chimenea, a birthday present from my daughters. It will be lovely on a chilly night in the autumn /spring and added ambience all year round for holiday gatherings..
15.01.2022 The vegetable garden this year has been planted in dozen of pots - redoing vegetable plot with 4 apple crates for the plants. The abundance of produce from the pots has amazed us all here at Topiary Haven. The banana peppers, halopeno and other chillies along with the egg plants, zucchini, squash, truss tomatoes just keep on yielding daily. Slow to mature and produce as grown from seed. Just so tasty!
14.01.2022 We have been preserving our garden produce - chillies, zuchinni, tomatoes, cucumbers, capsicums, beans and cauliflower..Delicious!
13.01.2022 One of our adolescent Devils taking advantage of a log to survey her surroundings. All of our enclosures feature raised areas to allow our animals to see out. T...his allows the animals to enjoy a much larger panorama than their enclosure would otherwise provide and is key to enrichment and positive welfare. See more

07.01.2022 Our two youngest grandchildren were helped by grandad to hollow out the Halloween pumpkins and cut a face in the pumpkin from their drawings. They had the pumpkins sitting on the kitchen bench eagerly awaiting darkness. Both were thrilled when we lit the candles and turned the lights off to view the scary faces. They will have their pumpkins sitting on their front step or hanging from a tree for Halloween! We will have to do some pumpkins for our front door step..
07.01.2022 Just about finished the vegetable boxes and the pavers now clean and more river pebbles added around the area. Discovered a huge Trillium in flower under the Persian Which Hazel (Parrotia Persica) tree.It flowered this year for the first time - small red blossoms in August on dark bare branches.
