25.01.2022 Members: the LKC track will be closed on Saturday 23rd July between 11-3pm.



24.01.2022 Attention members: the Vintage Kart Club of Tasmania will be using the circuit for a "Test and Tune" day on Saturday October 29th. The track will be closed to other members on this date.

23.01.2022 The Launceston Kart Club Tasmanian Auto Recyclers Karting Tas Statewide Series Round 4 is being held at the Archerville Raceway, Pipers River Road, Turners Marsh on 11 September 2016. The Meeting will be held under the International Sporting Code of the FIA, and the National Competition Rules of Karting Australia and the Tasmanian State Regulations. Compulsory classes are Cadet 9 Single Division, Cadet 12 Single Division, KA4 Junior Light, KA3 Junior, KA3 Senior Light, KA3 ...Senior Heavy, TaG 125 Light and TaG 125 Heavy. Discretionary classes are Tag Restricted Senior Light, Tag Restricted Senior Heavy, KA4 Junior Heavy, Junior Performance, KA4 Senior Light, KA4 Senior Heavy, KA4 Masters and KA4 Masters Super Heavy . There will be timed qualifying at this event with one Qualifying Session of 6 minutes. There will be 3 heats, with the grid for Heat 1, 2 & 3 being set from times achieved in Qualifying, with fastest time on grid 1, and so on. The grid for the final will be set from lowest combined point from Heats 1, 2 & 3. 21.01.2022 Attention all members - we are currently experiencing some intermittent technical difficulties with our automated gate. All members will need to use their key to access the gate while a technician works to resolve the issues.



19.01.2022 Gate update: All members can use the automated gate as normal. The technician has completed a systems check and upgrade, testing has been successfully conducted, and is now fully functional. Thanks to members for their patience!

18.01.2022 Attention members: the track will be closed 10 am - 1 pm on Friday 15th July.

12.01.2022 Junior Launceston Kart Club member Kiana Toon is organising the Get your pink on - 2016 Car and Bike Show, to be held at the LKC on Sunday 6th of November. The track will be closed for practice on this date, but we encourage our members to come along and support Kiana's fundraising event for Breast Cancer research.

11.01.2022 We have a number of days that the track will be closed over the coming months - Saturday 17th September, Saturday 1st October, Sunday 30th October, and Saturday 10th December. Saturday 29th October is also a Test and Tune Day for the Vintage Kart Club of Tasmania. We also require some members (adults and juniors) to volunteer to help with the two October dates - if you are available and can assist, please contact Stuart Lee.



10.01.2022 New Membership Forms for the 2016/17 season have been emailed to members - if you have not received these documents, please let us know your email address and we will forward them through to you. The LKC Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday August 3rd at the Jailhouse Grill, Wellington Street, Launceston. Nomination forms for positions will be published on the LKC site in the coming days.
