23.01.2022 A very busy time for us with Pete training for the recent Tour de Cure in FNQ and family fundraising for the event!! Other than normal work for us we also made a few people happy with recent work on lounge suites!! A huge difference made with cleaning a well-used family lounge and a repair to a dog damaged seat pad . We are still here working madly

18.01.2022 Hi Everyone We just wanted to warn cat and dog owners of the possible damage caused to leather surfaces with some external flea treatments. Some of the ones where you apply to the back of the neck have chemicals that can strip the colour out of the leather surface. Whilst it isn’t that expensive for us to fix it as we have for this dog owner in the photos, sometimes prevention is a better and less stressful thing.

17.01.2022 This week we did 6 mth clean for a client who has a high use leather lounge suite. It was very pleasing to hear that the lounge, (although it had some not so pristine areas) wasn't as bad as the customer thought it would be after the six months. That is because our 'Saba Cream' not only nourishes the leather to stop it drying out, it helps protect it as well. Regular applications are going to extend the life of your leather investment. Give us a call if your lounge could do with a clean and nourish!!

A solid afternoon's work from Launceston Leather Care has restored the original colour and look giving it a new lease of life. The clients are are thrilled with the results as are we!!

12.01.2022 We are often asked how often you should have your leather professionally cleaned. Of course the answer depends on the amount of use, but the rule of thumb would be every 12 months, more often if it is your favourite place to relax and it gets daily use. Our cleaning solution removes not only the dirt build up but the oils left behind from skin contact. Followed up with a generous coat of Saba Conditioning cream to nourish and protect your investment. We give the extra dirty ...areas the attention they deserve just like this beautiful white lounge from today!! Contact us if you would us to give your leather some love!

09.01.2022 Today has been a massive but successful day doing a major refurb on a lounge suite. Pete has done lots of prep work repairing cat scratches as best as he can and today we've recoloured and done a protective top coat for our client. Send us a message if your lounge suite needs some love!!

09.01.2022 SPOT BE GONE Do you, or someone you know of, have a mark or spot spoiling the appearance of the leather lounge? Launceston Leather Care can make it look a whole lot better, just like we did last week on this one (see pics) that the top colour coat was lifting.... If you have a mark on your leather it may not be as expensive as you think to have it repaired!! Give us ahoy!!

08.01.2022 We are excited to share with you that Pete is raising money for a wonderful cause next week! He has entered the Tassie stages of the Tour de Cure which starts this Friday in Victoria and rolls it's way into Tasmania next Wednesday. The Tour raises money for research into cancer and also donates money to cancer support groups. Pete will be slogging it out riding from Launceston to St Helens via Scottsdale, then from St Helens to Swansea on the Friday. If you would like to donate to his pain please get onto the website tourdecure.com.au type in Pete on the Find a Rider area and help him reach his $3500 target!! Thanks loyal clients!!

08.01.2022 Hi loyal Launceston Leather Care followers! If we aren't busy with looking after your needs we are flat out with other work and the passion to help people worse off than us . Pete is a mad (?!) keen cyclist who will ride a full Tour de Cure Signature Ride this year - 1100kms in 9 days from Mackay to Cairns in late April. Check out our site Pete's Cycle For Cancer if you would like to donate!! If not- get a table together for this event at Mowbray Racecourse!! It's not far away so don't delay- Silks Restaurant is filling fast!! It will be a fun day with great raffle prizes!!

06.01.2022 We don’t post very often but that doesn’t mean that we aren’t still doing lounge repairs and cleaning. It has been just over 3 years since we started and our knowledge base and processes are growing all the time. Like this lounge suite we finished yesterday. Sun light had not been kind to the leather surface, but restore it we did. Check out the before and afters. Even we surprised ourselves

05.01.2022 Hi followers of our small business!! We don’t post often as we are usually working and/or doing some excellent repairs and reconditioning of leather lounge suites!! The other thing even closer to our hearts is Pete cycling to fundraise- this is also a family concern!! Pete is currently doing it tough with Tour de Cure- 1400kms over 9 days from Sydney to Geelong. He is at Jindabyne tonight after a near 200km day on the bike over many many huge climbs through the Snowy Mountains!! Our next fundraiser will be awesome- our Dinner For A Cure is at Cataract on Paterson on Saturday 7th September. It will be a night of great food, comedy, photo booth and fun - and a bit of fundraising!! Come along if you can- get a group together to celebrate the end of Winter!! 04.01.2022 We have been super busy with enquiries and work in the last couple of weeks!! Brilliant results with cleaning/conditioning and amazing results re-colouring and rejuvenating a sun damaged lounge suite!! So thrilled to make our clients happy

03.01.2022 Big couple of days to give this much loved lounge suite a face lift. We cleaned, tidied up some up surface damage/wear, applied some new colour and even did first aid on a cut from a knife attack (oh well kids and a knife at least). It has come up a real treat and is now ready for the next stage of the family growing up. Check out the before and after pics.

02.01.2022 Sometimes a child, a pair of scissors and your leather lounge might not be a very harmonious combination. When these nasty things occur we can make things look and feel a whole lot better, just like we did for a client last week.
