23.01.2022 Nepali Society of Northern Tasmania (NSNT) is very grateful to all our valued community members and all other invitees for attending the Festival of Lights (Tih...ar: Deusi Bhailo) Celebration Program organized by our society on Sunday 15th of November 2020. NSNT is very thankful to the Mayor of City of Launceston Official, Albert Van Zetten for accepting our invitation as a chief guest and encouraging all of us including our Bhashalaya Kids. We would also like to thank Andrew Frost, Chairperson of Migrant Resource Centre (Northern Tasmania) Inc. Jan Chaplin, Public officer of Northern Suburbs Community Centre Incmunity Centre for being with us in this special occasion. We are also thankful to our past presidents and representative from other fellow organizations for sharing your valued time with us. We would also like to thank our indispensable supporters for the event, Tasmanian Government, Launceston Nepalese Soccer Club and Launceston Nepali Cricket Club. NSNT also takes this opportunity to thank our sponsors, without whom the event would not have been possible, special thanks to CURRY HOUSE Restaurant Mowbray (Gopi Bakbal) for sponsoring the dinner for the evening and making the event grand. We would also like to thank our parents and community members for their contribution towards the gifts presented to Bhashalaya Kids for the recognition to their excellent performance. 11.01.2022 Launceston Nepalese Soccer club would like to thank Danphe Nepalese and Indian Food, Hobart for sponsoring beautiful lunch packs to the players and management during our trip for the Hobart cup. A beautiful little restaurant located right in the town has alot to offer so its worth a visit. They do have delicious meals and no doubt standard quality with cheap prices.
