25.01.2022 Messy Church was a terrific time. I have photos of people, but am reluctant to put them on the page without permission, especially the ones of our young people who came along.

23.01.2022 Our friends from Scotch Oakburn College have contacted us today. Their executive met this morning and have decided not to let anyone external use their facilities, until further notice. This is a way of keeping their students and staff safe in the face of the corona virus pandemic. This means, until further notice we cannot worship in Briggs House. So, from now on our friends at Hadspen have agreed to allow us to have our service there. This will mean that from now on we will be having two services at Hadspen on Sunday morning. The first at 9.30am (singing earlier) and 11am. People are welcome to go to either. It will be the same service. Grace and Peace to you all and thanks for your anticipated understanding in this matter. Chris Duxbury

22.01.2022 We are so blessed and we as a church have been made for times like this. https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=531494970879400 https://fundraise.unitingworld.org.au/actnow

21.01.2022 But, we will return!!!

20.01.2022 Please join the local ecumenical community in The World Day of Prayer on 5th March 7pm at Evandale Uniting Church (9 High St Evandale). https://www.worlddayofprayeraustralia.org/

19.01.2022 All welcome. Contact Anthea Maynard ([email protected]) or Jeff Savage (Mobile 0429 728 243) for further details.

18.01.2022 Today we gave thanks for Bruce's ministry of lay preaching. While he was accredited 15 years ago, Bruce has been taking worship services for many more years. Well done Bruce. Not everyone gets the president to come to church when they receive a certificate from presbytery!!

18.01.2022 Letters and emails have been sent out, but just in case you have not heard.

17.01.2022 p.s. this is not for real!!

15.01.2022 You, your children, grandchildren and family friends are welcome to come to 3837 Esk Hwy, Fingal TAS this weekend.

15.01.2022 We will return... when it is safe to do so!

15.01.2022 It was wonderful to have our president with us at worship today. Unfortunately many had gone home by the time we thought to take a photo!

14.01.2022 As a part of "The Journey - Faith.Youth.Leadership" program there is a catch up at Charlie's Dessert House this Thursday 13th from 4-5pm. This is just one way to connect with this Launceston Regional UCA youth program. It's great opportunity to invite a grandchild + their friend and enjoy a hot drink and chat. Leaders at this event will be Denise Savage, Anthea Maynard and Simon Gurteen. Fun, faith, friendships and formation with followers of Christ Rego:... https://docs.google.com//1YTcnoeYLMvSbChL61An5QpotNMB/edit See more

14.01.2022 New opportunities are growing in Evandale, with the partnership of the local Uniting Church, Northern Midlands Council, and wonderful community members. During Covid-19 two Christian families started playing music on their verandah's on Sunday mornings in faith and hospitality with their neighbours. Thanks to Jeff McClintock and the support from Ian Goninon, the idea grew. https://www.facebook.com/verandahmusicfestival/

07.01.2022 Hello everyone, for those of us who are planning on going to Rod's final service at Pilgrim, due to the corona virus the shared lunch is cancelled and a presentation for Rod will be made at the conclusion of the service.

04.01.2022 So, worship is back on at Briggs House at 9.30am and for those who should not or cannot make it you can join us through live zoom! Just let Chris know and she will gladly pass on the ID meeting details.
