21.01.2022 Hope you all had a lovely Easter and had a chance to relax with family or friends. Term 2 accounts have been emailed out, so please check you inbox and junk mail for yours. Any credits that you may of had have been applied so please scroll to the bottom of the invoice to see the amount due. Days and times of swimming lessons are also on there if you need a reminder. And finally preferred payment method is by bank transfer and please remember accounts are due by the first lesson.

21.01.2022 With lessons starting again so is our MOVEMENT TO MUSIC class. Do you have a little one 4 months to 2 years old that you would like to get in the pool? Movement to Music is a drop in class on Wednesdays 1pm - 1.30pm, $10 a class. It's a great way to introduce them to the pool in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Nursery rhymes playing while you learn water based skills with your child.

All lessons start Mon July 20th (even though it is a student free day for lots of our kids). Term accounts can be paid by direct deposit or credit card, and must be done by your child’s/children’s first swimming lesson.... We can’t wait to have everyone back in the pool!

COVID restrictions are still in place so please remember * 1 adult per child is to attend swimming lessons * Social distancing remains in place on pool deck so please do not move the chairs * Limits on the number of people in the change rooms still apply... Please consider all these rules for your safety as well as others

17.01.2022 We are so excited to be reopening tomorrow for our Learn to Swim program. All lessons start as of Monday 20th July (even for those that have a student free day). We are aware that there will be a lot of emotions from children and parents about coming back to lessons. With no swimming for most of our children for 4 months there will be lots of things to consider. Some children will be so excited there won’t be too much listening the first lesson, some will be scared, nervous, unsure....all these emotions are normal. A lot of children will have regressed so won’t be at their ‘pre-Covid’ ability. All is normal (well the new normal), and teachers will work through it with them and you. We are just happy to be back in the pool!

Free time swimming is just as important as lessons....it gives kids a chance to practice their skills and explore the water on their own terms without a teacher always telling them what to do, so book in now!

These half hour sessions are held on Wednesdays at 1pm, and are tailored by our instructors to cater to parents/carers of children from newborn to 2yo. Classes are just $10 per session, and all you need to do is call us on 63433565 to book. (Babies will need to wear a swim nappy- we have them for sale here if you forget yours)

A fresh batch of students of all ages and backgrounds will be learning the theory & practical components of the AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety course. She's been teaching for around 13yrs, so provides a wealth of personal experience along with practical knowledge during her teaching sessions.

Remember that term 2 fees are due NOW, and our preferred method of payment is direct transfer via details on your invoice or via phone/EFTPOS (to ensure social distancing in our office area and prevent congestion with paying over the counter).

03.01.2022 With Tas borders reopened please remember if you or your child have any cold and flu symptoms, including runny nose, sore throat, temperature, etc to please stay home. We offer a lesson make up policy if give us a call by 9am on the day you will be absent. You can make up that lesson at any point during Term 4.

02.01.2022 With lessons starting back next Monday 20th July we would like to highlight some key points that may answer any questions you have... - There will only be allowed 1 adult to enter the Centre with each child. If you have 2 children and require assistance while you are in the pool with another child, you are allowed 2 adults as 2 children are swimming. Please no excess spectators. - Please social distance while on the pool deck, you will notice chairs are set around the edge of... the pool, please do not move them - No goggles may be borrowed from the office, each child who requires goggles must bring their own, or purchase a pair from the office - Limit your time in the changerooms - No baby changemats can be provided, please bring an extra towel to lay your child on -Cleaning of door handles, chairs, taps, etc will occur over the day as per COVID 19 guidelines - Please enter the Centre through the front door and exit through side door and out gate to avoid congestion in the office -Please use the hand sanitiser as you enter the office area -Please DO NOT come to swimming lessons if you or your child is showing any cold and flu like symptoms -Please DO NOT come to swimming lessons if you have entered Tasmania in the past 14 days and should be in self isolation, or are awaiting a COVID 19 test result. Let's make it an easy and exciting transition back to swimming. A simple way to avoid office congestion is to pay your invoice via Direct Debit or call the office and pay by credit card over the phone. All details are on your invoice.
