It’s in our clothes to the food that we eat....what are we going to do about it? How can we play our part in transitioning to a circular economy? #closetheloop #circulareconomy #sustainability

11.01.2022 Only 1 day to go! Tickets are selling fast so please make sure to book yours early! Event details: https://lnkd.in/fay7Hyp... We also excited to have Michelle Fisher on our expert panel tomorrow! Michelle Fisher is a Senior Policy Officer (Earth Resources Policy and Programs) with the Victorian Government and has spent most of her professional career working in law and public policy at the state and national level. Michelle has been involved in many interesting projects that promote the sharing of goods and skills and is also the founder of Melbourne Repair Café (Inner West). Repair cafés are free meeting places where volunteer fixers show people how to mend their broken or torn goods. Michelle has hosted over 30 monthly repair sessions and, by sharing her learnings and resources, supported the spread of repair cafés in more than a dozen other communities throughout metropolitan and regional Victoria and further afield. Michelle’s other interesting initiatives include Streetbank Australia, and the Inner West Commons LETS. Michelle is currently collaborating with repair café fixers and other locals on a project to set up a Sharing Shed (or library of things). Looking forward to Michelle's insights! #closetheloop #zerowaste #sustainability #launchpadnetwork #waronwasteau #sustainabilityevents #careersinsustainability
