22.01.2022 So apparently no one is going to the Australian Open in 2021. As far as we are concerned a Grounds Pass to the Open is one of the best value tickets for a whole day's entertainment going around. But it is nothing without the atmosphere which means it is nothing without you. Back away from your laundry Melbourne and get on down there! We've got this!

19.01.2022 For some reason, a woman outsourcing home help is secretive and taboo. I’m afraid of being told I’m lazy, out of touch or a bad mother, despite the fact that my husband benefits too! Truth! Stop feeling guilty about getting help! We’re all (secretly) doing it because quality time with loved ones is just so much more important than proving your value or worth through laundry. Free yourself.
19.01.2022 "There was more foot traffic in Melbourne’s CBD during the morning peak hour on Monday than on any Monday morning since the first lockdown last year, as the school year resumed and some workers returned to their offices." I know the trek into the CBD for work can be painful, but it is so very good to get some vibe back into the city. And don't forget, Laundry Point does dry cleaning too if you're one of those that needs to dust off your suits again!
15.01.2022 Parents everywhere let out a collective sigh of relief today when children went back to school after a loooong Xmas holiday period. It will now be just a few days before we all feel overwhelmed by the after school activities, homework, lunches and weekend sport. Until then, let's all put our feet up and enjoy that mid-morning coffee in sweet, sweet silence just for one day. For now though, take a deep breath in, then out, and remember. When the overwhelm comes you know... what to do. Outsource your laundry so that is one less thing you need to worry about. Now come at us 2021, after 2020 everything is a piece of cake by comparison! 13.01.2022 Oh Melbourne, here we go again, but at least for just five days this time. By way of small mercies, please know that Laundry Point never stops. We have worked directly for the DHHS throughout the pandemic and have had them personally check our COVID Safe plans. So, you might be locked up, but at least you don’t have to spend your time doing laundry!

01.01.2022 Time became almost transcendental in 2020. There was more time with immediate family which was good in unexpected ways. There was less time with everyone else which was worse than we could have imagined. More time waiting. And waiting. And waiting for it to end. I am so grateful to all who make up the Laundry Point community, customers & Launderers alike, and to everyone personally and professionally who made every day a little more bearable for me and for everyone else. Thank you. Now let’s kick 2020 to the curb, it’s almost time to bring in a new year!
