15.01.2022 Wow! The April rains in East Africa certainly have started in earnest. The best time of year to visit the Mara is July to October. After the rains grasses sprout and the wildebeest start moving northward into the Mara region, arriving typically around August. Huge herds, river crossings and big cat action galore at this time of year - wildlife literally everywhere!! Something not to be missed

14.01.2022 Spoke with a friend today about her recent travels around Australia . In her 4 month journey the highlight was a close encounter with a wild wombat. The wombat didn’t notice her and strolled right up before freezing, then turning off to run away. It filled my heart to witness yet another person, recount their special experiences with wildlife. These brief moments of connection to nature and wildlife leave such a lasting impact.
