23.01.2022 Would you consider yourself a leader? You may or may nor be a manager in your job title, but there are many more roles where you may be leading others both personally and/or professionally. Harry graduated from puppy school last night And in the simplest form, I am a leader to him! Read on if you are interested in learning about leadership and what I believe to be the cornerstone of good effective leadership which in turn creates happier workplaces, homes and relationships.... https://www.lauracolemanlifecoaching.com//are-you-a-leader

21.01.2022 *** Fun Fridays *** This is what I got up to one night last week out of looking for something fun to do & OMG I can't tell you how much I enjoyed it! - surprise surprise it's of my beautiful little puppy! On a more professional note though, I would like to share something with you today. I was inspired by a friend yesterday to write about the different ways I've learned to shift my mindset from overwhelm and worry to a sense of calm and balance so that she could use them ...too. It is too long for a blog post unfortunately but I am sharing it for anyone who wants it via email. Just PM me and I'll send it straight through & you can share it with anyone you wish! I like to make meaning out of things, and when life gets challenging I like to search for a lesson in it... considering what's happening in the world today, this could be a good time to outgrow an old limiting mindset pattern & adopt new mindset habits that improve your life in either small or big ways! Happy weekend from me & Harry!!xx

20.01.2022 Time Out Tuesday Ever found yourself in a but of a funk only to realise that you haven't been having much fun lately? Could the answer to feeling happier be as simple as making fun a priority as opposed to bottom of the list?... I've been doing some self inquiry lately & have found a strong correlation between my happiness & the amount of fun in my life. 20.01.2022 This Saturday we should be joining together to walk as one. We walk to raise awareness, to raise funds, to remember a loved one, to reflect on our own journey, and to end the stigma surrounding mental health and suicide. While we cannot walk together, we can still mark the occasion in our own way by connecting with others around the world.... Join us digitally on May 9th, we’re encouraging you to spread hope and share your sunrise moment on social media using #DIL2020

19.01.2022 Our minds love logic. It loves backing up our beliefs with as many logical reasons as it can find. This is the mind's job and it does it very well. . . However sometimes we find ourselves Stuck, and often this is down to beliefs that make us unhappy but we don't yet know how to let go and replace them. .... . A very powerful way of becoming unstuck is to simply start questioning these beliefs with Q's such as "Is this really true?" Or "How would my life be different without this belief?" . . Watch the mind as it scrambles for its many reasons to prove it's logical sense. Allow the mind to do its thing, and at the same time soften into the question and into your heart, sit with it for awhile and get curious about whether it is "Absolutely true" for you or if there is even a fraction of a doubt that it may not be 100% true. . . In my experience, this space (even if it is very small) is a space of opportunity, of openness, of possibility for something new to enter. . . Curiosity is a very powerful thing. Don't stay stuck. Look for new ways and you may just surprise yourself at what you are ready to let go of. . . See more

19.01.2022 Time Out Tuesday . . . Taking Time Out to even consider these words makes me feel better. Being mindful helps me to tap back into my inner world and to see what's happening in that head of mine. I sometimes go long periods of time without checking in with the quality of my thoughts and whether they are helpful or not, but when I eventually remember to tap back in with myself it feels like I'm on my way home again! ... . . . Have you taken a moment yet today to check in with yourself? See more

11.01.2022 Thankful Thursdays . . . In the spirit of Valentine's Day tomorrow, todays Thankful Thursday will be focusing on appreciating that special someone in our lives According to Gary Chapman, author of "the 5 Love Languages", we all express love differently. These are the 5 ways he's found that we give & receive love:... . . 1. Words of Appreciation 2. Physical affection 3. Quality time 4. Acts of service 5. Gift giving . . When we know our partner's love language we can make a special effort to speak in a way that they feel loved! . . HINT: how your partner treats you is probably how he/she likes to be treated!! (and if you want to find out more about your love languages search "5 love languages quiz" by Gary Chapman) . . I'd love to know how you plan on spoiling your other half this Valentine's Day? (Keep it PG of course) and make sure to tag your partner in this post to give them the public recognition they deserve! See more

04.01.2022 Our darkness doesn't define us, it's simply a part of being human! . . We are so much more than our fear, sadness, guilt, shame or any other negative emotion. .... . Today we remember those we've loved and lost. And we remember how important it is to be kind to ourselves and others!! . . Never give up on the power of your light -xx #Darknessintolightperth #2020 #mentalhealth #darknessintolight

02.01.2022 Fear is a normal human response to abnormal circumstances. However as powerless as we may feel in times like these, we can still take care of our mental and emotional wellbeing by learning how Not to indulge our fears to a point of overwhelm. . . One of the main things I've noticed over the last few weeks is the power of the "What If" scenarios that can have a strong negative pull. .... . In order to stay out of this pull, I've been asking myself the question: . "Is that Really true?" . In the "what if" stories, we are escaping into a fearful future that only exists in our minds. We have no control here. By asking the question "Is this really true?", I get to question my thoughts and to see them for what they are - just thoughts, not facts! There is so much freedom in experiencing this. . . Stay safe, take all necessary precautions to protect yourself and others! And as well as that, know that you need not suffer with overwhelming worry that damages your health and wellbeing. I am available for anyone who wants to get in touch for more free tips or skills on how to stay as grounded as possible during these times xx See more

02.01.2022 *** New Blog Post *** The picture in today's post was created by my fabulous friend, Paula Kilcoyne, who had never really drawn or used acrylic paints before. Before starting the painting, she consciously chose a mindset where she dropped the perceived "rules" that she needed to get a good outcome for her creative time and effort. ... And as a result, she enjoyed the process, created personal meaning for herself through it and ended up with this beautiful outcome - free of expectation! It's such a beautiful example of what I speak about in today's post. Click below to read more... https://www.lauracolemanlifecoaching.com//did-you-know-tha

01.01.2022 Time out Tuesday Today's time out is not so much about taking time out physically, but on taking some time out mentally! We all know the feeling when someone is behaving badly and we just can't understand what's going on with them or why they are behaving as they are. And the truth is, we may never know! However, today I invite you to consider what comes up for you when you get curious about the assumption "everyone is doing the best they can"... and how adopting such an ...assumption could potentially affect your overall wellbeing? Click on the link below if you are interested in reading in full and how such an assumption could potentially impact your life for the better! :) https://www.lauracolemanlifecoaching.com//taking-time-out-
