With a restructure of how Im operating my art studio, these could be the last workshops I run here locally! ... 05.01.2022 When white isnt white! Believe it or not, Im painting a white doily under these delicious looking cherries- but check out the range of colours needed to make white actually look white! Im all for splashes of bright colour and bold texture, but theres something that makes me very happy to tackle something with great detail and nail it!!! A skill Ive been honing since I was 10 years old! ... I started painting lessons with @petermortimoregallery when I was young - and he really taught me how to draw and paint well- something Ill always be thankful for- because if the foundations arent right, the rest probably wont end up that great!
