24.01.2022 This morning I had beautiful baby cuddles with a gorgeous nine day old baby who has been listening to me talk to her Mumma throughout her pregnancy. I’ve given her numerous pregnancy massages, massaged her during early labour and have been there to fill her up with encouragement when things seem tough. Today, hearing her birth story, cuddling her daughter, seeing Mum and Dad in love with their new little bundle and giving her a post natal massage was just the best. Love being part of my clients journey. It’s such an honor

20.01.2022 How beautiful is this garden statue it’s in the garden of our Airbnb. I’m away till Thursday on a little break

18.01.2022 I’ll treasure the early months I shared in bed with each of my baby’s. Enjoy Mumma

15.01.2022 I’ve enjoying using my new acupressure mat today. I brought a Shakti Mat but couldn’t wait till it arrived so I brought a $20 cheap version today from Kmart. Anyone else have one? I don’t find the Kmart mat painful at all (people report they can be painful till you get use to it) so I’ll be interested to see the difference between this one and the Shakti Mat. I’ll report back to you Acupressure mat benefits Acupressure mat users have reported finding relief for the follow...ing conditions: - headache, which is thought to be alleviated by standing on the mat with both feet evenly placed - neck pain - backache - sciatica pain in the back and leg - tight or stiff back muscles - stress and tension - fibromyalgia pain - insomnia Info from https://www.healthline.com/health/acupressure-mat#benefits

15.01.2022 Thought I might introduce myself to those who haven’t met me yet. My name is Laura and I’ve been a massage therapist for 14.5 years!! I’ve studied many modalities including remedial, relaxation, trigger point therapy, reiki degree 1, pregnancy/postnatal therapy and fertility massage. I’ve also been a doula and an infant massage therapist. My main job is being Mum to my three children and my step son. My partner, myself and our children live at Lisarow where I have a massage room. I’m mostly known as a mobile massage therapist and travel around the Central Coast massaging my clients. My passion is fertility, pregnancy and postnatal. Through my own experiences with fertility issues, miscarriage and three births, I feel this is where I can relate and empower women. I hope to meet you soon

15.01.2022 Massaging on rainy days are my favorite. Five of my clients are receiving massages today including two couples. What a way to start the weekend together

15.01.2022 The gift of touch being gentle with nurturing touch with your children allows them to regulate their emotions and learn the art of being gentle with others my son loves receiving a massage but also loves giving just as much

13.01.2022 At 6.40am my client text me to cancel her massage. She’s in labour by 8am I’ve had another three bookings. It’s going to be a beautiful, full day of massaging. Firstly a new Mum having her first postnatal massage after her caesarean then three remedial massages all in Copacabana

13.01.2022 This is such an important charity so close to my heart. When I had a miscarriage in 2016, I was given a bear (along with other things) donated by another family who have had a loss. The comfort from such a small donation is huge. When you click on the link below, there’s some advice on how to deal with your loss when Mothers Day arrives. The first Mothers Day after my loss was such a sad day. I had a beautiful healthy son and was pregnant with another but the loss I felt on this day was just horrible and I wasn’t expecting it. I stayed in bed all day and felt unsupported. Discuss with your loved ones how you may be feeling on the day so you feel supported and understood. And if you’re called to do so, make a donation to help another on their heartbreaking journey

13.01.2022 Happy Earth Day! I’ve been so fortunate to have been able to get away to the Blue Mountains for a few nights. I’ve been bathed in nature for days. We have seen so much beauty in nature. It makes my heart so full and my cup has been filled up. Each person we have come across in nature has spoke of how wonderful it is our daughter is starting so young in nature. I really couldn’t imagine it any other way. Teaching our children to love nature is one thing you can do to help Mother Earth Tomorrow she starts Raw & Unearthed

12.01.2022 It is such an honor to give a closing of the bones ceremony and post natal massage to a woman. This powerful healing ceremony symbolically closes the many pathways that were opened during the birth of her baby, creating space and freedom to embrace the new role of motherhood more fully I arrive at my clients home with everything I need for this treatment. I create a altar with sage, candles, singing bowl, affirmation cards she can keep, warm homemade chai tea for afterwards.. I give her a hour long massage where ever she needs it the most, I then wrap her in long Mexican shawls/rebozos. It’s like a full body nurturing hug

12.01.2022 Love these words Amethyst Joy writes about her birth choices

12.01.2022 If you’re looking for a positive way to welcome in the new year, I highly recommend listening to this podcast and doing some powerful journaling exercises. I’ve done mine and am ready to welcome in the new year. Enjoy the last day of 2020

12.01.2022 Pregnant Mums/new Mums check out Meals 4 Mummas. Homemade food specifically tailored for your postpartum needs

11.01.2022 Some people have been asking me, what is a rebozo after I mentioned I used one on my client in early labour (link below on how to use). A rebozo is a special woven cloth that can be used in so many ways. Spinning Babies mention them a lot so check out that page too. I have quite a few rebozos and I also use them to wrap my clients during a closing of the bones ceremony or on my clients in labour

10.01.2022 I’m loving all my clients sharing their baby’s arrival with me. There’s so many right now! I’m also having women reaching out wanting hospital visits. If you are in need of a massage, I am here. I can come to your home or the hospital and visit you. Please note, I don’t bring my massage table into the hospital. I can massage your neck and shoulders while you sit on a chair and your legs and feet as you lay back on your hospital bed

07.01.2022 I taught a new Mum to massage her baby this afternoon. But beforehand, her and her husband received a massage too. A very relaxed and content household

07.01.2022 Rainy day massages... so good for my client and for me! Enjoying getting out the house and visiting amazing places

03.01.2022 Visiting two clients today with brand new baby’s not only giving them a massage but the person who has been helping them the most during this important postnatal time is also receiving a massage

01.01.2022 Happy New Year!! I hope this year brings peace and happiness to us all
