25.01.2022 Its FriYay and I couldnt resist one more sneaky of this gorgeous session. This was taken as sunset had its last hoorah for the day. I was thinking ahhh running out of light! but this right here, is exactly why I like to shoot right till the very end. I wish I had photos of myself like this during my pregnancies...so very special! 23.01.2022 HELLO! After closing my doors, life as been hectic and I haven't even been able to contemplate whether this is permanent, semi-permanent, short break or what! I truly appreciate the words of support and understanding I received from so many of you. At this time, I do want to let all my wonderful clients from over the years know that my best wishes are with you all and your loved ones in this very uncertain time. Its all a little crazy right now and we are all doing our best ...to cope the best we can. I sincerely hope all my fam bams are doing well and staying safe and healthy. If you are reading this, that's means you have hung in there on my page too. Thank you for doing so! I do plan to still enter awards this year with images created over the past 24 months. So if that interests you, please feel to hang around and see what becomes of that. Any further updates in the future to my business status will be shared here too. Take care everyone x

20.01.2022 {Sneak Peek - Oliver Day 5} When Ollie and big bro Noah arrived at the studio, I just had to grab a Big Brothersaurus & Little Brothersaurus shot before they got in their photo clothes. How cute! Oliver was a super star...slept the entire time, no feeding or settling required..all done in 2 hours! Little Legend :)

The Image of my beautiful niece was my favourite and best hope. Only 1.25 points from Silver! A little disappointed but still fantastic result. 12.01.2022 Have you noticed the stuff stocking the shelves and people stockpiling gifts ready for Christmas? Here are some awesome ideas for pressies that are actually u...seful, dont make even more waste and support local businesses. Christmas 2019 -- Birth of a New Tradition - for Australia (or any other country, for that matter!) As the holidays approach, the giant overseas factories are kicking into high gear to provide Australians with monstrous piles of cheaply produced goods -- merchandise that has been produced at the expense of Australian labour. This year will be different. This year Australians will give the gift of genuine concern for other Australians. There is no longer an excuse that, at gift giving time, nothing can be found that is produced by Australian hands. There is plenty! Its time to think outside the box, people. Who says a gift needs to fit in a shirt box, wrapped in Asian produced wrapping paper? Everyone -- yes EVERYONE gets their hair cut. How about gift certificates from your local Australian hairdresser or barber? Gym membership? Its appropriate for all ages who are thinking about improving their health. Or a massage or pedicure or beard trim. Who wouldnt appreciate getting their car detailed? Small, Australian owned detailers and car washes would love to sell you a gift certificate or a book of gift certificates. Are you one of those extravagant givers who think nothing of buying a foreign made flat-screen? Perhaps that grateful gift receiver would like his driveway sealed, or lawn mowed for the summer, or games at the local golf course. There are local owner-run restaurants -- all offering gift certificates. And, if your intended isnt the fancy eatery sort, what about a half dozen breakfasts at the local caf? Remember, this isnt about big National chains -- this is about supporting your home town Australian with their financial lives on the line to keep their doors open. How many people would love an oil change for their car, or a service for their bike, by a hard working Aussie mechanic? Thinking about a heartfelt gift for mum? Mum would LOVE the services of a local cleaning lady for a day, or some time with you at a local event. My computer could use a tune-up, and I KNOW I can find some young guy who is struggling to get his repair business up and running. OK, you were looking for something more personal. Local crafts people spin their own wool and knit them into scarves. Visit your local Sunday markets and support local artisans with their lovingly made jewelry, pottery, beautiful wooden boxes, clothes and art. Or help drought-affected farmers and their families survive through Buyfromthebush. Plan your holiday outings at local, owner operated restaurants and how about going out to see a play or ballet at your hometown theatre. Musicians need love too, so find a venue showcasing local bands and buy some tickets. Honestly, do you REALLY need to buy another 200 foreign made, easily broken, lights for the house? When you could buy a ten dollar decoration made locally, with one dollar staying in the community. Another great idea is donation certificates to the many charities that struggle to meet the demands on their services this time of the year, or the farmers who secure our food and milk. Buy a bale in someones honour, or a water donation and a pass to the local pool. You see, Christmas is no longer about draining Australian pockets so that other countries can build more glittering cities. This Christmas encourage Australian small businesses to keep plugging away to follow their dreams. When we care about other Australians, we care about our communities, and the benefits come back to us in ways we couldnt imagine. THIS is the new Australian Christmas tradition. Mateship, helping small businesses and Aussie battlers thrive. Forward this to everyone on your mailing list -- post it to discussion groups -- throw up a post on any forum you belong to - send it to the editor of your local paper and radio stations, and TV news departments. This is a revolution of caring about each other, and isnt that what Christmas is about? (Author unknown) Thanks for all the support for this post. 02.01.2022 { STUDIO CLOSED } As some of you are already aware, I am taking a break from my photography career. The Studio is now closed and bookings are not available indefinitely. Thank you to all that have trusted in me to capture some of the most special times in your lives and precious family memories. I hope the images will be cherished and bring joy to you and the future generations for many years to come. Although a huge decision after 20 years working in the industry, I know f...or me personally right now, it is the right one. I am very excited to move in a new direction and return to something I wish I had of pursued a long time ago. It is also time to spend more time as a Mum while my beautiful boys are still little and want to spend time with me! Photography will always be part of my life and I may venture into some different genres to keep my creative brain happy.
