06.01.2022 Now here is a little something. My mother was asked to translate this poem which highlights the labour force that once was Melbourne. This knitting mill, the hundreds employed there. The time that it once was. The poem has been translated in a number of languages, Italian being where my dearest mamma helped out. Have a listen to her narrate and read the wonderful story of this creative piece that was born of the talented Timmah Ball, inspired by a place in our wonderful city while she slept in lockdown.
