24.01.2022 I received this from Christene yesterday. Engagement party turned into a wedding. I did bust darts, hem up and a bustle so she could dance and move around more easily at her reception. 21.01.2022 I received these beautiful pictures of Lisa. She purchased her gown from Jenny and Gerry's and had her alterations done in-house. She needed her bodysuit/ under garment to fit probably so I remodelled the cup. I altered the girls dresses even making a wrap jacket and hat from another dress. I also altered the flowergirl and Lisa's mums dress. What a beautiful family. All the best with your new life in Sydney

21.01.2022 20 years ago today I started my business. Mainly doing alterations to suits, trousers, skirts and dresses. I had over 30 stores that I picked up from and 2 dry cleaners. Things changed and then I worked for Jenny and Gerrys in suit hire and then upstairs in bridal as a dressmaker/fitter. Then went to Liza Emanuele, chapel sewing solutions, Marcia's manufacturing, George Gross and Harry Who and went back to Jenny and Gerrys doing work from home. While working at these ...places still doing work at home. Then I had my daughter so I started doing only work from home mainly bridal but still doing shortening of jeans for my regulars. Few years later I started helping Luv bridal (for a few years) then Bridal on Pulteney ( til Feb this year)going into store to help the brides travelling so far. 18 months ago moved to Athelstone and I have a room 4 times the size of Andrews farm. I was in heaven. I haven't done much work in the last few months thanks to covid-19 but I've made a some tops for a customer, a pair of pants for another customer, some embroidery on a towel for another and some jeans to be shorten. The last 20 years has been amazing. I get to do what I love and help people on 1 of their important days of their lives, getting married. Seeing their pics in the Sunday Mail is amazing. Thank you to anyone who has come to me for alterations, you have made me reach this milestone. Thank you if you have sent me pics to but on my brag boards or thankyou cards. I still have a huge pile to put up. Thankyou if u even like my page or follow it. Hopefully soon I'll be back to normal and bring on the next 20 years

20.01.2022 What is a bustle? This is a Made with Love gown bustled. There is a loop and button so the train can get lifted up at your reception so you can dance and move around more easily. The fuller the train more loops and buttons will be needed
