15.01.2022 When I shared the music of Laura's life this last September, this one was missed. How could I have forgotten it !!! The back story .... She had just turned 14.... Into another horrific round of chemo, too weak to get out of bed n needed some scans done in nuclear medicine in the adult hospital. (it was joined at that time to the kids). Diagnosed with cancer at age 9, it was only a mere 12 months later Emma had a stroke. Her mum Gail recalls Emma not being able to walk after the stroke and losing hope quickly. She was a mess but once she knew she was getting a wish, her whole demeanour changed. Make-A-Wish was a turning point for Emma.
