08.01.2022 Two gorgeous little girls were the centre of attention today as I officiated at their naming ceremonies. Darling 4 month old Jaycee watched on as we marked the day with poems written by her proud mummy and daddy and special words from big brother Riley. A candle lighting ceremony and poignant music added a personal touch. Followed by certificates to mark the day. The cake looked amazing and everyone enjoyed some yummy treats after the formalities. Thankyou Stuart and Rebecca Laing for choosing me to share your special day.

08.01.2022 Two Naming Day ceremonies for me today. The 2018-2019 wedding season is nearly over (although I do have two ceremonies in July) I'll be rugging up for those ones! Being a celebrant is such a rewarding profession, you get to meet so many special people, and every one has a story. 02.01.2022 Good morning all, overnight presumably like many of you I struggled to sleep. So many thoughts were going through my head. These are worrying and unknown times we are facing and no doubt many of us will be feeling anxious, confused and unsure of our future. Being a Funeral Celebrant it made me think that many loved ones may pass away during this time and not necessarily from the virus. Unfortunately gatherings to say goodbye to them may be restricted and you may not be able ...to give them the funeral they deserve or would of wanted. I wanted to reach out to you all and say you can still celebrate their life by having a memorial service, (or whatever you would like to call it) at some other time. This may be held weeks or months later depending on when this crisis is over. My role as a celebrant is to deliver a service with respect and dignity. Death is a subject that nobody really wants to think or talk about but in reality it happens. We will get through this, I am here if you need me or just want some advice. Please share this message amongst your friends oh and by the way I am also a smiling marriage celebrant that will be back in business once this crazy time is all over.
