Either way, Bodie Ghost Town in Mono County California made me feel like I was on an old western film set and when you peeped through the windows, you got to see what the previous inhabitants left behind.

07.01.2022 These empty desert houses, sit right along Route 66 in the tiny, almost abandoned town of Amboy, California. The town was once a major stop along the historical road, but sadly it paid the ultimate price when the nearby interstate was opened. There is a total of 10 surviving buildings in Amboy and only four permanent residents.
