25.01.2022 One Stryke capped off a great week for my little stable with a gallant second at the Sunshine Coast in his first attempt at open company. Tegan also got to have her first sit on him and didn’t disappoint. Mont Mont, trained by Kathy Stabe was also successful at Chinchilla making it two starts for two wins at the track. I love riding this little horse as he always tries hard, just like Norm, probably two hands shorter though Congratulations to all connections over the past week.
24.01.2022 Thanks for the chat Jared
22.01.2022 The big Since joining the stable as an $8000 tried horse purchase One Stryke has won four races and his connections $150,000 in prizemoney. Good boy Norm!
21.01.2022 Kevin gets some press again
21.01.2022 Mort Doyle @ Doomben
16.01.2022 Very satisfying day for both myself and the owners of Kievann yesterday. Nearly eight months off the scene due to injury he bounced back to win the 2020 Yamba Cup at Grafton as a nine year old. Aided by a top, patient ride from Andrew Mallyon I just couldn’t be happier. Well done to all involved and thanks to Trackside Photography for the great photos.
14.01.2022 Kevin Can Do If you missed Kievann’s win on Monday at Grafton the replay is below.....
14.01.2022 The big orange does it again
12.01.2022 Kievann notched up his 14th career win on Saturday taking out the Dalby Newmarket in fine style, taking his career prizemoney over the half a million mark. What a marvellous old horse he is. He was the first horse I bought when I got my trainers license and this was his sixth win for me. He has taught me a lot about training and the less is more approach. Thanks Kevin
10.01.2022 What a terrific day for the stable yesterday with the 10yo marvel Kievann leading all the way at the Gold Coast to hang on for his 13th career win and his 5th since joining my stable. Great ride by Jordan Grob too. I don’t know Jordan too well but he told me he used to ride him trackwork when he was at Stephen Brown’s and the inside knowledge of the neurotic old fella was what got them over the line!! One Stryke never disappoints his owners and yesterday was no exception going down narrowly to Fisticuffs at his first attempt at 1200m at Doomben. He was also aided by a super Justin Stanley ride (as always). Congrats to my little team of owners that are great supporters and friends and thanks Trackside Photography for the photos
07.01.2022 Great weekend with the horses with Mort Doyle finally living up to his potential and winning impressively at the Sunshine Coast. Congratulations to all his owners as it’s been a pretty frustrating ride with him and hopefully he’s finally turned the corner. I also enjoyed riding a winner myself, even if it was only at Chinchilla. It was good to get back riding after a bit of a false start before Covid and little Mont Mont tried his heart out to win easily. Kievann certainly wasn’t disgraced either, running third when drawing the extreme outside and asked to lump 62kgs. Thanks to Trackside Photography and Three Way Photos for the
04.01.2022 Mort Doyle makes it three in a row
01.01.2022 Thanks Bernie! I might be biased but there’s no more deserving winner than Norm today and I was very proud of his efforts.
