25.01.2022 I believe this is fundamental for all parents to know

23.01.2022 Be good to people. You will be remembered more for your kindness than any level of success you could possibly attain.

19.01.2022 The very notion that we need to ‘fix’ our period, sets up and further cements the narrative that there is something inherently wrong with us. Such a perfect set...-up to keep us relying on what is outside of us rather than drawing from the richness of what is within. Our body is communicating to us all of the time. Yet so often we choose to be at the mercy of this rather than actively listening to it. As uncomfortable as it may be sometimes, the communication is always happening, moment to moment with absolute consistency and dedication. You are not broken. And you do not need to be fixed. Yes absolutely get the support that you needbut from a place of understanding and being fully informed. ‘Know your body & be empowered’ - Sara #menstruationmatters #cyclewise #ovulationmatters #periodmemes #periodpain #pms #knowyourbody #beempowered #followyourflow See more

17.01.2022 A must read for every man and women, to understand and start supporting ourselves and others.

09.01.2022 Sometimes it's as simple as that.

09.01.2022 Early to bed tonight. I could do many other things tonight, but my body has spoken so warm pillows and foot cream it is to prepare for a beautiful restorative s...leep. Doing these ‘wind down’ things are what are medically termed ‘sleep hygiene’ and help support us physically and psychologically to prepare to rest, as many will know we don’t just have a ‘shut off’ switch and it actually can take some effort to wind down from the day. Well worth it! Sleep hygiene sounds too clinical for me - so I call mine part of my night time rituals instead. #sleep #ritual #sacredspace See more

03.01.2022 Puberty and perimenopause 2 major transitions in a woman’s life that have a lot of similarities and vast physiological change. So much so that perimenopause i...s often referred to as a second puberty. During these often very sensitive times, there is decreased ovulation for both, higher levels of estrogen and a significant change in social status. These changes carry certain stigmas along with unpredictability and with this increased risk in stress responses. Physiologically, these transitions are also the beginning and ending of a woman’s reproductive life. But what if the view of ‘reproductive life’ is part of and feeding into the stigma surrounding these times? Yet again enforcing the notion that a woman’s worth and her very existence is based around pregnancy and her ability or choice to conceive or not. These transitional times offer a richness of an inner-development for a young and older woman to embrace. A richness that comes from her willingness to know who she is and to know her worth beyond her physical body. The physical body and delicate sensitivity of the hormonal system at these times are testament to a woman’s depth of sensitivity that she is being asked to embrace. What standards is she setting for herself for all that lies ahead? A life-cycle approach to a woman’s health is paramount. As is understanding her health from within, first and foremost. #periods #menstruationmatters #menstruation #menstrualcycle #menstrualcycleawareness #puberty #girltowomen #girltalk #beingawoman #periodpain #endometriosis #perimenopause #perimenopausehealth #perimenopausal #menopause #ourcycles #ourcyclesapp See more
