23.01.2022 Good evening everyone. I think our standard freezing cold Ballarat winter is going to hit with a hiss and a roar tomorrow,, are we surprised? I think not! I can't believe the positive response I have had in my return to the treatment room, it has left me feeling very humbled!... THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! I am fully booked this week and quickly booking into next week as its a short week due to the public holiday on Monday the 8th - I will not be working that day. Please read the Covid-19 guidelines on the Cliniko booking page when booking and try to remember the golden rule.. IF IN DOUBT - DON'T! If you have any concerns or are unsure what it all means, please just send me a message. This past week has seen me reflect on how far I've come and what i am yet to achieve. I'm super excited and each of my valued clients will most definitely be reaping the rewards for all the changes that are coming our way!! Stay tuned for an announcement in a few weeks Be safe and be healthy Loz xxxx

23.01.2022 Week 3 of upgrading my skill set We can never know too much, always learning and always growing

22.01.2022 Yesterday marked the end of an era for me. After almost 20 years of working from home juggling babies, children, dogs, cats, study, washing, cooking and the general beautiful chaos that is my families life at home, I treated my last client in my humble abode that has, over the years become a place of comfort and relief for many of my wonderful clients. These same clients have watched my babies grow, supported my independence and have been just as much of a comfort to me as ...they claim I have been to them. However, as fun as it's been, it's time for new beginnings and with that brings exciting changes!! As of this Monday the 14th of September I will be running my business out of Shop 31 Harold Street Wendouree, in the company of some very talented ladies at Boutique Beauty by Chloe .. to say I am excited is an understatement! I'm flying solo for a few weeks but my clients still have access to the LED light bed to aid in cell and nerve regeneration. Flick me a message if you would like some more info. Change can be exciting and it can be scary. I just figure If you're not scared about the change then are you challenging yourself enough Some things that won't be changing is little old me and the care I will continue to provide for my clients. Same price, same treatment (with some added newbies soon), same table, same reformer and the same sparkling conversation I cannot wait to open the doors on Monday and welcome my clients, new and old, into the start of this new phase in my business. Don't get washed away today.. Sunny Ballarat is turning on its charm. Thank you, Loz

21.01.2022 Hello Everyone, And just like that we are in October. In a matter of weeks we will be at the end of another year and we'll be leaving this roller coaster behind to strap in for a whole new ride. ... You can click on the "book now" button on my Facebook page to book an appointment 24 hours a day 7 days a week to book your appointment. My days will be changing soon due to my schooling days. Week beginning the 12th October they will be: Monday 9.30am-6pm Tuesday 10am - 8pm Wednesday 10am - 8pm Thursday - unavailable unless otherwise stated Friday - 9.30am - 2pm Saturday - By appointment only At the moment I am booking out 10-14 days in advance so I highly recommend booking your appointments ahead of time where viable. 21.01.2022 It seems that our little town has done a fabulous job at keeping the nasties at bay.. Its business as usual here in the clinic. Looking forward to seeing you all soon. Loz x

19.01.2022 With the return to services available increasing as of today, I'd just like to remind everyone of a few very important and easily followed guidelines that will ensure hygiene and safety standards for everyone involved. Please wash or/and sanitise your hands before arriving for treatment. There is sanitiser available for use before you enter the clinic room. Unless you are accompanying your under age child, the client receiving the treatment is the only other person oth...er than myself allowed in the room. Council regulations restrict me from allowing clients to use my toilet / bathroom facilities. Tricky one I know, I won't be making you duck over to stocklands if you're busting If you answer yes to any of the following please either cancel or reschedule your appointment... Are at risk or been in contact with anyone at risk of contracting Covid-19? Are you experiencing any flu like symptoms including cough, cold, sore throat and temperature? Are you generally feeling unwell? Thank you so much for your continued support, I understand that this is a frustrating time for everyone, but in order for us small business owners to survive we need everyone's co operation. Stay warm and be safe. Loz xxx https://lauren-lavery-sports-and-remedial-therapy.au1.clini

18.01.2022 Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all enjoyed your weekend with a little bit of sunshine, hopefully a sign of things to come. Friday the 23rd is a public holiday for the AFL grand final. ... After some thought I have decided to close for the day and have a long weekend with my family. For those of you that have a booking on that day I will be in touch in the coming days to reschedule your appointment. On another note.. If for some reason you cannot make your appointment or you are going to be unreasonably late or you just forgot and you do not let me know you WILL be charged a late cancellation fee of $50. In saying that, I do understand that life is unpredictable and I am absolutely understanding of that, what I am not understanding of though is the complete lack of respect for my time and the time of other clients that could of utilised that appointment. I don't enjoy having to address these kind of things and hopefully I don't have to again. On a brighter note, another big thank you to those of you that have helped me transition into my new space. I'm forever grateful to all of you Loz x

18.01.2022 Kia ora Thank you for making my first week in my new space amazing. You are nothing short of brilliant. ... Arohanui Loz x

16.01.2022 Happy public holiday Monday everyone I hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend. We are soaking in our last few hours of serenity before we head back work. My weeks are getting busier (thank you ) which is making appointment times a bit scarce.... Booking ahead or keeping a regular scheduled appointment is the best way to grab yourself a spot. For the first 5 people that leave a review AND share my page will get a $5 discount off the standard price on their next appointment. Be safe, stay warm and wash your hands. Much love, Loz x

15.01.2022 What better way to spend a rainy evening than with clients who bring you these...

14.01.2022 After 15 years I thought my trusty stead could do with a bit of TLC and it has come up a treat This reliable work horse has been with me through thick and thin, it's moved location 6 times, its been sworn into, gripped hold of, pummelled by fists and kicking feet, has had many tears shed into it and holds all the secrets of those that have laid upon it. I dread the day I ever have to give it up. Its never let me down. ... A huge big thank you to Rod, Wendy and the team at Qual Trim for the re do on this bad boy today.. I'll get another 15 years out of him yet

12.01.2022 Good evening everyone. As of tomorrow you will be required by law to wear a face mask or covering into your appointment. I'd also ask that you wait for the previous patient to leave before you enter, so please keep an eye on the door when you pull up. Sometimes the scrolling can get distracting ... For the time being I am able to work and provide treatment. I will know more tomorrow after they announce workplace restrictions, I am hopeful that given i could provide services under stage three last time that I will be fortunate enough to be able to continue through this time also. Some of my wonderful friends and business owners aren't so lucky and im sending so much love to them all. The whole thing is devastating and the ripple effects are profound. As always I will strive to make your time here as comfortable as possible given the current events. Look after you, you're the only you there is Loz x

11.01.2022 With the increased expenditure required to adhere to ongoing hygiene and asepsis improvements within the allied health sector due to COVID-19, as of July 1st I will be implementing a small price rise for all services. I pride myself in being a value for money service and will continue to provide an individualised client centred approach utilising quality equipment, high grade anti bacterial processes and upgraded clinical tools to ensure best possible treatment standards for... my clients. I have been working hard during these last few months at creating a larger professional referral base, focusing on creating a team approach to each person's needs. Each and everyone of you have played a integral role in creating a proficient environment for me to do the work I love and spur me on to constantly bettering myself and the treatment I provide to you all. I am always humbled by the gratitude that is shown to me, especially in recent times when I re opened my home to you all following the shut down of our nation. It's enabled me to truly appreciate (even more) the trust that you all put in me when working on your bodies to achieve the best possible outcome. To say I enjoy what I do is an understatement, i am incredibly fortunate that I get to do something I love everyday and the schnauzers appreciate the bulk pats and affection they receive in the process. 10.01.2022 Hello everyone, I think the weather in Ballarat is reflecting the state of our great nation at the moment. Grey, bleak and unpredictable. Or is that just the Ballarat that we know and love? Hard to feel all down though when I have a beautiful new apparatus due to arrive any day now Wonder if I'll need an equally as beautiful new place to put it?? ... We are no doubt in for some future uncertainty, however, one thing I will be making sure of is the health and safety of my clients. I want us all to get through this with as little unnecessary disruption as possible. I will reiterate my Covid - 19 policy that is also available for viewing when booking in with a couple of added points. Please do not continue with a booking if any of the following applies: You have returned from overseas travel in the last 14 days. You have been in contact with someone who may have or has been exposed to Covid - 19. You are experiencing flu like symptoms such as, fever, cough, cold and sore throat. You are commuting to Melbourne regularly on public transport. You live or work within the hot spots postcodes listed here in this post. This is an absolute must. You believe for whatever reason that you may be at risk. By following these simple guidelines you will be playing your part to help our entire town in getting back to some form of normality and i for one would be so grateful. I am a very lucky girl that gets to do something she loves everyday. Everyone I have had through the treatment room has been nothing short of amazing. I truly have the best clients, 100% without a doubt each and everyone of them have been brilliant, considerate and thoughtful to others. Enjoy your beautiful winters day in our lovely little safe haven. Loz xx

If you think that you have been exposed or possibly exposed to Covid-19 in any way shape or form please DO NOT continue with your booking. If you are displaying any of the symptoms such as cough, cold, fever, runny nose, sore throat, please DO NOT continue with your booking. 06.01.2022 Happy Sunday everyone Another weekend done and dusted and hopefully another week closer to finding our way through this minefield that has become our norm. I was hoping that I would be posting today cheering because we had a drop in the infection numbers of Covid19. Unfortunately things are still a little rocky, but.. we are still here! If thats not a positive then I dont know what is ... I will be continuing to monitor all bookings very closely to allow for client safety. That is my number one priority. At this stage of the game I am willing to accommodate each persons individual needs. If you feel safer wearing a mask then please do so and know that it will be accepted without prejudice. It's all about creating a treatment environment that is comfortable for everyone. Hand sanitiser is available for your use before you enter and when you exit the treatment room. Keeping in with my associations guidelines, I will be wearing a mask for any treatment that requires me to be face to face and unable to keep a safe distance. Please DO NOT proceed with a booking if any of the following applies to you: You have returned from overseas travel in the last 14 days. You have been in contact with someone who may have or has been exposed to Covid - 19. You are experiencing flu like symptoms such as, fever, cough, cold and sore throat. You are commuting to Melbourne regularly on public transport. You live or work within the hot spots postcodes listed within Melbourne Metro and Mitchell Shire. This is an absolute must. You believe for whatever reason that you may be at risk. I'll be returning to my previous strategy of asking my clients to wait in the car until the client before you has exited. Please keep an eye out and if in doubt flick me a text. It's just safer and reassuring for all involved. I'm so grateful for the level of caution and respect that have been displayed by each and every one of you that has come through my door. Thank you doesn't even do it justice. Enjoy your week and let's stay positive for some good news. Stay warm. Loz x

03.01.2022 Sunday.... my favourite day of the week. Taking some time to recharge and regroup is just as important as building knowledge and improving skills. It allows the mind and body to rest and recreate awareness for the things in life that is important to each of us. ... My downtime is spent with those that I love. It allows the time to focus on creating a healthy balance between work and play. For the most part of my week I am focused on creating an environment and treatments for my clients to be the best version on themselves, the rest is spent focusing on being the best version of me. It's all about balance. I always endeavour to return a message or phonecall at my earliest possible convenience, but sometimes my "downtime" means switching off of business mode and switching on into family mode. If you've reached out to me in an out of hours time, please be assured that I will get back to you when my work switch has been flicked back on, not because you're unimportant, quite the opposite really when you think about it. No body wants a time poor, frazzled therapist in charge of making decisions regarding their clients health. So... I'll continue on with my pursuit for balance today and I'll be back on deck tomorrow to do one of things I love the most. Enjoy. Loz xx

03.01.2022 I've spent this past week utilising the skills I learnt with Shaun and Gab from ACE at the Advanced Dry Needling Course. AND.. I got all this cool stuff from Red Coral So I came home, not only with a head full of insight, but also with some new tools and two new pens.. winning ... Ps.. I only ever go for the free pens
