02.01.2022 WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME...you had your vehicle's air conditioning serviced? Well summer is just around the corner so don't leave it till your sweating like a gypsy with a mortgage! FACT 1:... Most vehicle manufacturers recommend that you service or regas your car’s air conditioning system every 1-2 years. This is due to an approximate 10% gas loss over a year of frequent use and maintaining sufficient oil to lubricate the compressor. Without regular servicing you run the risk of premature wear and failure of expensive components. FACT 2: The less gas you have in your air conditioning system, the more frequent the compressor unit cuts in, meaning the engine is working harder and using more fuel. FACT 3: 2-3 degree Celsius cooler is better than 2-3 degree Celsius hotter.
