22.01.2022 I posted this back in 2013 - the reality is, nothing has changed. Bookkeeping is not just something "anyone can do". We've seen this amplified over the last three months with everything that has been required around Covid-19. Businesses with a relationship with a BAS or Tax Agent have been able to access the stimulus packages in a legal and compliant manner - their BAS or Tax Agent has been able to work closely with them and step them through the process. We continue to hear stories of business owners "DIY-ing" this, and fundamentally screwing it up, to their, and often their employees detriment.

12.01.2022 These are the things we love to hear from our clients! Initially the ATO rejected this clients claim for Cashflow Boost (and JobKeeper). We stepped through the rules and regulations, and appealed on behalf of the client. Outcome was that the client become eligible for not only Cashflow Boost, but JobKeeper as well - a significant factor in keeping business operations alive during the peak of COVID lockdowns and restrictions. Our willingness to delve deep into the details of the legislation, and to stand firm and advocate for our client with the ATO, saw a direct boost of cash to their business of just under $100k. Certainly not an insignificant amount, and we know our work was truly appreciated by our client.
