16.01.2022 A big thank you to Philippa Dominish for sharing her wonderful photos. On Day 6 of their bikepacking adventure, Pip and Cath left Grand Cru Estate and followed the Lavender Cycling Trail to Mount Pleasant. From there, they took a wonderful dirt track down to Mannum. Pip has kindly shared the route here - https://ridewithgps.com/routes/34667713 "Yay! We did it! 286km over 6 days from Clare to Mannum. What a fabulous ride. Every day offering something different, interesting an...d challenging. Ridiculously steep climbs, some exhilarating and some slow rocky descents. Magnificent views, nature reserves, rocky out crops, open farmland, historic churches and old ruins. Brown snakes, kangaroos, galahs, crows, dragons, stumpies and more kangaroos. Lovely homestay, dodgy hotel, booking mix ups, incredible hosts. Sheep, cows, alpacas & rabbits. Blue skies, hot sun, bakeries, driving rain, wineries, pizza and strong blustering winds. What more could you possibly want to create such an adventure." See more
