25.01.2022 World Reflexology Week So today I was at Brightwater in Currambine giving back to the wonderful staff that work out of there and promoting the amazing health benefits of Reflexology. As many of you know I work part-time for Brightwater, giving elderly clients Reflexology as part of their home care packages. Love this side of my job and enjoyed giving back to the wonderful Brightwater team today xxx

24.01.2022 Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year 2019 is ringing in new exciting changes for ‘The Lavender Tree’. As many of my regular clients know, I have now relocated to Muchea in the beautiful, peaceful Chittering valley. All my clinic appointments are now based at my new space here, but I will also be offering mobile appointments for my clients who will find it tricky to travel here. The journey is no more than 25mins from Carramar and when the new north link road is completed ...later this year, the journey should be less than 20 mins. The extra time is well worth it, as to be surrounded by all this beautiful nature, flora and fauna, it will definitely enhance your relaxing treatments. 18.01.2022 What are flower essences? Flowers are conscious, intelligent forces. Flower essences a unique form of herbalism are a concentrated encapsulation of this life force which we can use in our everyday lives for happiness, emotional wellbeing and healing. Flower essences are tinctures made primarily from flowers, trees and plants. They are safe to use and are considered suitable for everyone from young children to the elderly.... Herbalism, and the use of plants and flowers for healing, has been around for as long as recorded history, but modern-day flower essences were founded by Dr Edward Bach, creator of the Bach Flower Remedies. In 1930, Dr Bach, a medical doctor, decided to search for a new healing technique and spent the spring and summer discovering and preparing new flower remedies which held the pattern of energy of the flower. Similarly in Australia, Ian White, a Naturopath, also took this age old study and applied it to the flowering plants of the Australian bush, showing the energy and power in the ancient lands of Australia are manifested in the healing properties of its plants.

18.01.2022 Thankyou so, so much to the absolutely amazing response we have had to naming our new Glamping venture So many fantastic suggestions and sooooooo hard to choose. We have had quite a few emails, messages and comments about the name ‘Gypsy’. Having carried out my own research, I was so shocked to learn it was a racial slur dating back to World War 2 where many nomadic communities were lost through the holocaust Even though many of you included this name in your suggestions,... we have chosen not to use it, as to not offend anyone, particularly the people and their ancestors, who travelled in, and made these beautiful wagons As they say, ‘every day is a school day’ and it’s always good to learn about new things, and the whole naming thing has certainly taught me a lot about these lovely painted wagons, known as Vardos. Out of literally nearly 100 suggestions we have narrowed it down to seven! I couldn’t work out how to do a poll, so please could I ask you to press the like button next to your favourite name below. Many people have asked for more information, prices etc. As soon as we have a name I will set up a Facebook page and Instagram page and share it on here so you can keep up to date with news, special offers and our launch. 13.01.2022 To all my therapist friends out there or people that hold workshops, this is a great little spot I wasn’t even aware existed set in the beautiful Chittering Valley. Lyfe at the Stix is super quirky and has an amazing chill out tent (with fire pit in winter) which could be used for workshops, meetings, sound healing, retreats, therapy days amongst other things. Definitely a place to consider for your next event. 07.01.2022 To all my lovely Perth followers I have been asked recently by many of my clients if I still stock a range of diffusers. Since we moved house I haven’t been keeping any stock but I’m happy to going forward if I have enough interest. There are some really beautiful diffusers out there now, some even with Bluetooth, some playing lullabies and soothing sounds and some with innovative Red LED Light which is scientifically proven to support sleep, as it naturally supports the body into producing melatonin which is the body’s own natural sleep hormone.
