18.01.2022 COVID-19 (Stage 2) Market Closure until further notice as at 25 March 2020 The Federal and Victorian Governments have announced further restrictive measures to curb the risk of infection from COVID-19. As a result of these restrictions, the Victorian Government has made an order under the Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008 affecting our market:... In the interests of public health and safety, the Laverton Market will close in its entirety with immediate effect, until further notice. Our paramount concern is to act in the best interests of all persons by playing our part to attempt to eliminate the risk of spreading or infection from COVID-19. These are difficult and unprecedented times. We will continue to monitor this emerging issue and advise you as soon as we are able to return to business as usual.
