19.01.2022 Isla Heather and Lucy Jacka have successfully auditioned for the Junior Riverina Albury Dance Ensemble. The standard of dancers that auditioned was extremely high so these students should be very proud of this achievement. They will attend classes at James Fallon High School on Tuesday afternoons in 2021 and will represent our school at a number of regional events.

19.01.2022 Application for Year 7 Selective High School Placement in 2022. Selective high schools cater for academically gifted students with high potential who may otherwise be without sufficient classmates at their own academic standard. Selective high schools help these students to learn by grouping them with students of similar ability, and by using specialised teaching methods. Applications for selective high school placement are considered mainly on the basis of the Selective Hi...gh School Placement Test results and school assessment scores. The Selective High School Placement Test will be held on Thursday, 11 March 2021. If you would like to have your child considered for Year 7 selective high school entry in 2022, you need to apply on the internet using a valid email address (not the student’s email address). Detailed instructions on how to apply online are now available at: https://education.nsw.gov.au//selective-high-school/year-7 The application website opens at that link on 13 October 2020 and closes on 16 November 2020. You must apply before the closing date. There are no paper application forms. If you do not have internet access, you could apply at a public library. If you have a disability that prevents you from using a computer, you can contact the Team for assistance after 13 October 2020. You must submit only ONE application for each student.

18.01.2022 Between the hours of 8.55am to 3.00pm students cannot use personal digital devices (e.g. mobile phones, tablets and smart watches) if they are not for educational use or not directed by a teacher. If a student breaches this procedure by using their personal digital device during school hours, the device will be confiscated until the end of the day. Students who bring personal digital devices, including smart watches, mobile phones and tablets to school should hand them in to ...the front office switched off. They will be stored in a secure location and can be collected after 3.00pm. We appreciate your help with this matter.

02.01.2022 Good morning Regular attendance at school is essential to assist students to maximise their potential. Arriving late to school means that a student misses out on important information at the beginning of the day. They often have to play 'catch-up', as their classmates are already part way through a learning activity. Arriving late to school requires explanation, as there is a period of absence from learning. It is the responsibility of the parent/carer to explain why a stude...nt is arriving late to school. These explanations can be provided via phone, note or in person at the front office. As with any absence, it is preferable that an explanation be provided as soon as possible. Thank you

01.01.2022 Good Luck to all our Year 4 students sitting this year's Opportunity Class placement test today. We are proud of your efforts.
