Thinking of $20 - $25 to purchase with all proceeds going direct to our fundraising efforts. Just let me know a t-shirt size and away we go ! P.s. only 100 days until we "Walk for a Cure". 14.01.2022 Relay for Life at Huon Valley 22-23 Feb 2020. Lavinia's Walkers are registered so feel free to join the team or donate. Thanks

13.01.2022 Following information relating to the Huon Valley Relay for Life: 22-23 Feb: 1pm Sat 9am Sunday. Key points: We do not have access until 11.30am on Saturday (Little Athletics have a meet that morning) Leanne will bring her tent. Greg is bringing a 2.4 x 2.4 Marquee. Feel free to bring something to sit on, chair, bean bags etc ... Bring own water bottle, coffee/travel mug, plate, bowl & cutlery (they are trying to eliminate waste) there will be wash up stations New this year is $25 food event ticket: includes afternoon snacks, dinner, late night snack & breakfast (you will receive a wrist band to identify who has purchased ticket). Food also available as individual items at individual prices. Can also bring own stuff. Some gluten free and vegetarian food available. Foot massage had one last time awesome. Car parking is available REGISTRATION Online registration closes on Wed 18 Feb but registration can occur on the day if you know of anyone who may be thinking of coming. The cost of registration will count towards Lavinia’s Walkers. LAVINIA’S WALKERS T-SHIRTS As you know Sue has created a Lavinia’s Walkers logo that she will put on t-shirts (various colours). They are $25 adults & $10 for kids. If you would like to order any and have not already let Sue know your sizes please let her or me know by Tues 18 Feb. Payment can be made at the Relay. As this is a customised item there will only be shirts for those who order and pay for them . To enable all profits to go to the Cancer Council there will not be any extras available for purchase on the day. Thanks Sue for your time and effort in making these t-shirts for us. LAVINIA’S QUILT RAFFLE A reminder that another fundraising initiative is Lavinia’s Quilt raffle refer Lavinia’s Walkers Facebook page. Raffle tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5 and available from Sue and I or at the Relay on Saturday. The winner will be drawn on Saturday evening. Thanks to Michelle P, Trish and Michelle V who donated the materials, their time and extraordinary skills to make this beautiful quilt.

04.01.2022 Lavinia’s Quilt Every two years the Millhouse family and friends get together to join in with the Huon valley Relay for Life to raise funds for Cancer Council Australia and to celebrate the memory of Lavinia Millhouse who lost her battle with cancer in March 2009. This year they are raffling a quilt put together by three local women with a passion and connection to quilting and a strong desire to see an end to cancer.... After initially starting the quilt, the first quilter lost the feeling in her fingertips due to the treatment she was receiving for cancer. The quilt was passed on to the second quilter to complete the quilt top, and with wadding and backing, handed it over to the third quilter who put it all together to produce the finished quilt. The quilt is 100%cotton with washable wool wadding, so is made to last and be used. This beautiful quilt measuring 1320cm x 1680cm Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5 and are available from either Leanne or Sue. The raffle will be drawn at the Huon Valley Relay for Life on 22 Feb 2020 with winners notified by phone.
