14.01.2022 We had a huge week at Lavishly Baked HQ- My littlest man turned ONE! I learnt so much in the planning and preparing of this party. He, along with his big brother, have multiple food allergies so everything produced was egg, dairy, peanut and sesame free for them. One thing in particular I learnt was AQUAFABA! This amazing ingredient (the water from Chickpeas...yes, chickpeas!!!) allowed me to make vegan Italian Meringue Buttercream-which was amazing!!!! Foods I made included... egg and dairy free mud cake/cupcakes, e/d free Royal Icing, e/d free butter cookies, e/d free lemon cake/cupcakes, and e/d free finger buns. First off, I want to show off my Italian Meringue Butter cream on some cupcakes and a cake made by his big brothers (6 & 3) for his actual birthday.

14.01.2022 #pokemon party cake for my big boys 7th birthday! We went on a #pokehunt and played poke games. Cake was vegan red velvet cake with vegan cupcakes, cookies and layered pokeball jelly cups. Figures all hand made. A great day was had by all. Lucy Bragg

08.01.2022 Vegan Swiss Meringue Buttercream...my new obsession!

08.01.2022 Celebrations continued with a Fox themed Birthday. Everyone got 'Foxed Up!' With headbands and fox masks I made and we were set to go! I've always wanted to make a tree stump cake, so I was inspired by the fox/woodland/boho theme. I knew Dina from 3 Sweet Hummingbirds (Zahari) would do an amazing job with the invites and edible images-and, of course, she did!!! Cake, figurine, and all deserts were handmade my yours truly and all edible; including the 'Moss' on the cake board..., cupcakes and finger buns. Our 'Trail Mix' thank you's were dairy-free Caramel Popcorn. Invitations, cupcake and cookie toppers by the insanely talented Dina from Zahari- thanks gorgeous girl! The gorgeous chalkboard momento board was exactly what I envisioned and was designed my Regina from Say it with chalk & balles . We had an amazing day and I had absolutely no time to be sad that we just celebrated our last 'first' birthday. Happy baking everyone! Lucy

02.01.2022 I can’t believe it’s been 2 YEARS since I posted pics of my creations. What can I say? Time flies when you’re living a hectic life! But two years??? I still can’t believe it! I will try and update my over the next few days/weeks/months. I think the last post was my babies 1st birthday cake. He will be 3 at the end of the month
