20.01.2022 Approved entry and exit statistics Permission to enter the country was granted to 10,440 visa holders and permission to leave was granted to 10,004 permanent residents and Australian citizens. Of those entering Australia 64% held transit visas, while the greatest proportion of the remainder were granted permission to enter on compassionate grounds at 16.5%.
