22.01.2022 Gardening tip for the week !! # Now is a good time to plant any shrubs and trees where the soil is still warm and the air cool. There won't be much leaf growth but the roots will get a good head start for next spring.

20.01.2022 Hi everyone, unfortunately some scum bags have decided to take what's not theirs again this case being my trailer with some tools in it. Could people please keep an eye out for a single axle 8x5 caged galvanised trailer with ramp, stolen last night or early this morning from Mount Clear property. It had a large tool box at the front with wheelbarrow and 2 wheelie bins with garden tools in them in the back. If seen could you please let Ballarat Police know or call me on 0417417760. Thank you.

08.01.2022 This weeks tip of the week : Make use of your grass clippings, such as making liquid fertilizer by adding the clippings to a bucket of water and straining liquid out after 4 days. Composting by adding it to fallen leaves and paper and rotating every couple of days. Using in potted plants to hold moisture but try not going to close to the roots as this could burn them. And finally it is good not to catch the grass at all especially if not left to grow too long as this will actually improve the look and health of your lawn.

04.01.2022 Gardening tip of the week - Now is the time to get vegetables such as spring onions, garlic, spinach, silverbeet, onions, broad beans, kale, lettuce and cauliflower planted. And herbs of coriander, rocket, parsley and chives out.

04.01.2022 Tip of the week : Now is the perfect time to spruce up your lawn. Start by spraying with weed selector such as weed and feed. The following week add some slow release lawn food to strengthen roots, aerate your lawn especially in high used areas, pitch fork or spiked shoes works best and finally add lawn repair seed to bare and weeded areas.
