25.01.2022 Should I core my lawn? Unlike regular aeration, where solid tines simply punch holes in the ground, core aeration removes a plug of soil from your lawn at the same time.

25.01.2022 Lawn Rescue specialises in lawn coring. Aeration involves perforating the soil with small holes to allow air, water and nutrients to penetrate the grass roots. This helps the roots grow deeply and produce a stronger, more vigorous lawn. 22.01.2022 Recent Project: Install Irrigation system The process included: - Water pressure test and precise lawn area measure up - Design system, and order all sprinklers and parts - Cut in trenches (over 80m)... - Build and install entire system into trenches - Connect system to controller and test - Back fill all trenches. For this project 17 Hunter MP Rotator’s were spread between 3 zones to provide even coverage throughout the entire lawn area. I also went with the Pope Aquazone battery operated automatic controller, which is added straight to the tap so there was no need for an electrician to install an outdoor power point or a plumber to tap into the mains water supply. 19.01.2022 Former granite parking bay excavated to a depth of 100mm then topsoil brought in and levelled, followed by laying 130m2 of #canturf Santa Ana Couch

18.01.2022 Another Artificial Lawn installed. This time we went to a Pre-School and upgraded a barely usable area. This zone couldn’t grow grass due to shade problem’s from the trees, which also drew out any moisture and nutrients. This transformation has swapped dirt and dust to a 45mm high, super soft, high quality Synthetic Lawn.

12.01.2022 Lawn Rescue specialises in Scarifing/De-Thatching. Thatch is the layer between the soil and grass leaf and it’s made up of dead grass, roots and stems. Excess thatch prevents water, air and nutrients from getting down into the soil for the roots to use, which in turn creates shallow un-healthy root depth. It is recommended to Scarify at least once a year to prevent excess thatch build up to keep your lawn as healthy as possible. Step 1: Turf Cutter used to remove the top 60mm layer of existing lawn Step 2: Add organic’s then Rotary Hoe to relieve compaction Step 3: Re-level to prepare for new turf Step 4: Lay your new turf (in this case we used Canberra Blend from Canturf)

08.01.2022 Our latest project was completed today. It involved the removal of the top 2 inches of turf which was severely damaged by Black Beetle and Scarub, Rotary Hoeing the existing soil to break up surface tension and create a soil bed which is great for new roots to establish into, Re-level then apply a pesticide to keep the grubs away, Lay 100m2 of Canberra Blend instant turf.
