19.01.2022 Last night The Lawns Bowling Club held their delayed 2019-2020 Presentation Night in the newly re-named Curtis Family Complex club rooms with lots of members, family and friends present. Apologies for the lack of information on some of the photos of pennant winning teams.

19.01.2022 Congratulations to our Lawns women's fours team who represented the Riverland today playing at Morgan in the Region Four Ladies Championship Event. After hard fought games against Mid Murray, Broken Hill and Barossa and Light our Lawns Ladies took out this competition by a single shot. Well done ladies.

18.01.2022 Last night was the final night for our night social bowls and was well attended by many of the teams who have played throughout the 18-week season. It was a fun night with bowlers having to participate in a number of not the norm of bowls including playing with their oppositions bowls, bowling with their opposite hand, rolling the kitty last (after the bowls had been delivered) and the furtherest legal bowl from the kitty winning the end. There were lots of laughs, comment...s of frustration and fun for all. A big thanks to all who have attended throughout the season, and special thanks to Teresa, Shirl, Maria, Jenny, Chris, Peter, Cathy, Aub and many others who worked behind the scenes to make this a successful social event for our Club. There were a couple of special awards for the team (Misfits)who won every game they played, for Lance who hasnt missed a week no matter what the weather was like, and Jeff is always last finishing because he takes so long on the mat. The Encouragement Award went to the L Platers, Runner Up was Just In and the overall winners were the Good Knights. Hope to see see some of you at winter bowls which starts on Friday, 17th April. There will be a sheet in the Mens notice board - names must be in by 12.45pm for a 1pm start.

17.01.2022 The Lawns Renmark have 2 teams remaining in the finals race today . Playing in the Grandfinals at Barmera are our Division 2 and Division 3 ( Lawns Red) sides. Wishing all players in these teams good luck and great bowling today.

Unfortunately they were defeated by Berri Red in what was a very close fought game. Congratulations to all players on what has been a great season of bowling.

05.01.2022 This afternoon the The Lawns Red played Waikerie in the Grand final of the 2019/2020 Bowls Riverland Mid Week Triples. Waikerie were too strong today however congratulations to our players on a fantastic season of bowling.

04.01.2022 This team of bowlers from The Lawns had a very successful trip to Edithburg on the weekend. Steve, Ray, Ned & Gary won all their games in the 2-day carnival coming runner-up on 1st day and winners on the 2nd day. Well done guys!

02.01.2022 This weekend April 10th and 11th The Lawns Renmark Bowling Club is hosting the Prestige Womens Medley Event . It will be a great chance to watch some high quality bowling so come along and have a look. Many thanks to all those who have volunteered in anyway, your efforts have been really appreciated and our grounds and clubrooms are in great shape in readiness for this event .

02.01.2022 Our hearts are broken - Rog left us in the early hours of this morning. We are devastated beyond belief, he fought so hard to stay with us but in the end all his organs started to shut down. He was on separate life support systems for his heart, his lungs and his kidneys but in the end he couldn’t fight any longer. The hospital called us last night about 9.30 and Fiona, Steve, Michael and myself all went back to the hospital as they said he wouldn’t make it through the night.... We all got to say our final goodbyes. Hugs Maureen
