Tass has served as a Director on the LCA Executive for a number of years and served as the President of the Law Society from 2015 to 2017, as well as the prior 4 years as a Law Society Council member / Treasurer. Through this Consultation Paper, the Committee is seeking the views of professionals, agencies and individuals in the Northern Territory and other jurisdictions on the issues of mandatory sentencing in the Northern Territory and community-based sentencing options. Details in relation to how to make a submission can be found in the Consultation Paper. The closing date for submissions is Wednesday 25 November 2020.
