22.01.2022 Did you know that if a tap drips 10 times a minute it wastes up to 5L of water a day? That's 164L every month going to waste and costing you money! A service to your tap will stop the drip and have your taps back in perfect working order.

22.01.2022 The black numbers on your meter are the kilolitres and the red numbers represent litres. Think you have a leak? Read below... Turn off all taps and water appliances Check your water meter, if the dials are moving there is a good chance you have a leak.... If the dials aren't moving, make a note of all the black and red numbers. Don't use any water for an hour, then check back. If they have moved you may have a slow leak. We can assist you with locating and repairing any leaks, and provide you with info to go back to council for water relief.

22.01.2022 HAPPY EASTER & STAY SAFE #goldcoastplumber #proundtobeessential #proudtoplumb

05.01.2022 UPDATED 2PM FRIDAY 14 FEBRUARY: UPDATED KEY MESSAGES City officers have worked around the clock to manage the volumes of stormwater entering the City’s sewer...age network. The City’s sewerage network is in the process to returning to normal and the majority of the overflows have now ceased. In extreme events like this the network is designed to protect properties. The overflows primarily go into constructed overflow points which enter the stormwater system. At this point the heavily diluted sewage mixes with the excessive storm water from the prolonged rainfall event. At these sites the City is conducting regular water sampling to ensure public health. During this recent event our 530 pumping stations and 4 treatment plants had no equipment failures due to effective operation and maintenance of the assets. At this time services have been returned to normal and customers should no longer be impacted, weather permitting. Any customers who experienced sewage overflows or inundations in their home should contact our Customer Service Centre on 1300 000 928 and also contact their insurance company if they have not already done so. The safety of our staff, residents and visitors is our number one priority. We apologise for any inconvenience and thank all Customer’s/Residents/Visitors for their patience and assistance. Sewage system overload. as you know, the city is built on pretty flat terrain and a huge network of pumps are therefore used to move our poo to the treatment plants: PLEASE NOTE: WHERE - Citywide WHEN 20200213, 0955 WHAT Due to the significant ongoing wet weather, the city’s sewerage system is at or near capacity. 91 pump stations are overflowing. Due to the sewerage network overflowing, some areas of the city may find it difficult to flush their toilets KEY MESSAGES The City is aware of an overload on the sewerage network due to ongoing wet weather The safety of our staff, residents and visitors is our number one priority Crews are on hand to deal with spillages and to minimise any environmental impacts, undertake clean ups and restoration work in the sewerage network as required Impacted customers who are experiencing sewage overflows or inundations in their home, are asked to contact their insurance company and the 24 hour Customer Service Centre on 1300 000 928 and to arrange clean up as soon as possible There may be delays in speaking to an operator after-hours due to the potential high volume of calls and delays in crew response times due to this significant rain event The City’s sewerage network system is designed to handle an average of 4 times the normal dry weather flow, over the last week we have received in excess of 500mm of rain across the Gold Coast, impacting the sewerage network Some of this rain has been illegally diverted from the stormwater system to the sewerage network creating additional load/pressure on the network
