24.01.2022 What a lineup...

22.01.2022 18 Years ago at 83 Ruthven st Toowoomba QLD Australia, as a 15 year old, my father pointed to an @americansanders floorcrafter and said son, sand the floor. I had to learn quick, but I’d been watching him sand floors since I was about 8. Now, the same machine (pictured on the left; built in 1997) Is back in my possession and sanding floors just as well as the 2 year old Floorcrafter pictured on the right. It’s a little nostalgic for me

22.01.2022 I’m never surprised with what I find under old grey wood anymore!

08.01.2022 The things you find...

07.01.2022 The tools of yesteryear can still be very handy. Today we’re replacing an old timber floor, laying over the original joists. These flooring cramps do the trick nicely, and work really fast.

07.01.2022 Beautiful American White Oak wide plank flooring.

02.01.2022 2 things are being achieved by doing this. One, we are mixing up the colours- sometimes there is a bunch of really light ones or really dark ones in a box that we distribute over a few different piles. That way, when we go to lay them, they’re evenly distributed across the floor. Two- we stack them loosely like this to allow air through the blocks to acclimatise to this dry Toowoomba environment. This product is already almost as dry as it needs to be so it will be ready to lay in less than a week.
