Such a shame to see a place with such amazing social history and architecture destroyed. It was nice to create these amazing bench tops and bring a little bit of history back to life.

09.01.2022 I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to work with such amazing clients, that have trusted me in the early stages of finding my feet in my own business. This project in particular, will be one I never forget. I do my best to draw everything by hand but sometimes it is a challenge to put down on paper what goes though my wacky head. 01.01.2022 Couldn’t be happier with how these Messmate barn doors turned out. Every piece of feature grade Messmate was hand selected and machined into tongue and groove lining boards, for a structurally sound joint and perfect flat finish. The double doors were carefully matched for a consistent grain through both doors. Black epoxy resin was used to fill any large holes and care was taken to ensure the natural feel and texture of the timber as per request of the client. The doors were then finished in my personal favourite - Fiddes hard wax oil.
