18.01.2022 With such stunning weather how could you resist a day outside and that’s just what these smart bowlers did. Today we hosted our annual Pork and Plonk tournament day, with teams from as south as Yankalilla all the way up to Glenelg and Murray bridge coming to play on our green and eat a lovely Pork lunch provided by Top Cuts butchers. In the evening we had a raffle with cheeses donated by Paris Creek Farms, Peats soil donating a $50 voucher and a Maidments meat hamper.... Thank you to all the volunteers that helped during the day, we couldn’t have run the day without your help. If anyone is interested in playing or helping out at the club feel free to contact this page and we will get in contact with you.

16.01.2022 Even though the nights are cold, the dinners are warm and the sunsets are beautiful. Where else would you rather be than night owls at the Langhorne creek bowls club. Every Thursday from 6:30 we’re doing $15 dinner and drink meal deals, accompanied by 12 ends of bowls surrounded by other cheerful bowlers, what more could you ask for.

11.01.2022 Hi all - Please be advised that all competitions and practice are CANCELLED as per government orders today. This includes cancellation of Night Owls (including dinners). The club will be closed for 2 weeks at this stage.

11.01.2022 If anyone has noticed any suspicious activity around the club over the last couple of weeks, please report it to the police! We've had someone repeatedly breaking in and so far they've stolen a vacuum cleaner, umpiring equipment, audio equipment, and now the Panasonic TV.

09.01.2022 This Sunday 'La Maison du Vigneron' is holding an Open Garden with all proceeds going to the Bowling Club. 18 Bridge Road LC from 9am - 4pm. $8 Entry with tea & coffee available. Get along and see a beautiful garden and support our Club - it's a win win!

09.01.2022 It's nearly time for Night Owls to kick in again! We've changed the format and split it into 2 6 week 'seasons' this year to make it a bit easier to commit to a team entry - the first starts in a fortnight and will have a focus on fun! So sports clubs, workplaces, friendship groups - get a crew together and get your entry in!

03.01.2022 Good news - We're back on deck! Night Owls will recommence Thurday night as will pennants on Thurday & Saturday, but there as still some pretty significant restrictions though, the most significant being: - Mandatory sign in via QR code or paper sheet for anyone attending the club - Clubroom capacity is only 36, so please congregate outside as much as possible - Consumption of food & alcohol must be seated if inside the clubrooms... Please do your bit to ensure we comply. See you on the greens!
