25.01.2022 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty (Psalms 91:1). In Matthew 6:6 Jesus equated the secret place to the -prayer closet. The word "dwell" is yashab which means to "remain or abide; to dwell or inhabit". The point is that it must be a lifestyle, not a once in awhile activity. We must make the secret place our habitation or "dwelling"place. If our prayer life is that of a continuous relationship with God we can be assured that we are abiding under the shadow "protection"of the Almighty.

21.01.2022 This Christmas we celebrate "Jesus Christ-Our Hope" ( 1 Timothy 1:1). We must not be cast down, we must hope in God. Christ in us - the hope of glory. When you feel insecure, when you find yourself in a situation of despair, you do not know what tomorrow will bring- Hope in the Lord. He will give you the strength to live and the courage you need. Nothing on this earth will be able to separate you from the love of God in Christ Jesus- we can find comfort and victory when we... hope in Christ Jesus. I would like to whish you all a Happy Christmas as you spend time with family and friends. Remember that we do not live as those who have no hope- Jesus Christ , the hope of glory was born- thank God for that- and paid the price on the cross- at Calvary so that we can have hope- God bless you Rev. 20.01.2022 1 Timothy 2: 1-7 2 I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3 This is good, and pleases God our Saviour, 4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave himself as a ransom fo...r all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time. 7 And for this purpose I was appointed a herald and an apostleI am telling the truth, I am not lyingand a true and faithful teacher of the Gentiles. There is only one God and this is a relief for those who believe that there are many Gods and they must do something for each one to keep them from their anger. There is only one mediator between man and God and His name is Jesus Christ. There are many religions that believe that there are many gods and many mediators (eg. some have made saints to be mediators, the Jews believed that angels were mediators etc.). If there are many gods and many mediators competing for their allegiance and their love, religion becomes something which divides men instead of uniting them. It is because there is one God and one Mediator that men are brethren one of another. Jesus gave his life a ransom for all. It cost God the life and death of his son to bring men back to himself. Through Jesus death men understood the love of God. Paul has become a herald (he is saying this is true)- and he is a witness- to the story of Christ. Paul wants us to know that what he is saying is truth- he is not lying because he has already experienced the touch of God and his power in his life. Paul wants to communicate this story to the western world. This is us. As we read this portion of scripture this morning let us realise that there is only 1 God and He loved us soooo much that He sent his only son to die on the cross for our sin. It is through that blood that was shed for us that we can now come to God the father and he sees us spotless, white as snow as our sin has been washed away. Jesus is the only mediator between men and God- there is no one else. Open your heart to God. Make peace with your maker. Repent of your sin, ask Jesus to come into your heart, to forgive you, to wash you white as snow. 09.01.2022 Proverbs 18: 21 tells us that death and life are in the power of our tongue and those who use it shall eat the fruit of it. We need to be very careful with the words we speak as they can bring life or death. I want to use words to bless people, I want to confess words that will bring life. I want to speak favour, victory, healing over my friends, my family and loved ones. We need to understand that the words we speak carry supernatural power. The bible tells us that one day... we will have to give account for the words we have spoken. I hope that your words release favour, ability, confidence, healing, victory and God's blessings in extraordinary ways. Get into the habit to speak God's blessings- there is enough death in the world - let us speak life. Life in abundance over our friends, family, church, loved ones. Sow life and you will reap life. 02.01.2022 "Father, the time has come...."Jesus prayed in John 17:1 Prayer is the barometer of our church. Prayer is the gauge by which we will judge success or failure, because that will be the measure by which God blesses us. Prayer is the engine that will drive the church. If the engine is not at peak performance, then the church will not be able to perform as God would have it to perform. How can God bless Australia if we do not pray?... We can only see a breakthrough when we pray. In Acts 2: 42 we read that "They devoted themselves to the apostles'teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer". Praying was a common practice in the early church. Jesus tells us to "Ask and it shall be given unto you, seek and you will find, knock and it shall be opened unto you; for if you ask you will receive and if you seek you will find, and if you knock it will be open"(Matthew 7:7,8). Let us ask- Our God is alive, he can hear our cry. Let us seek- We need to pray fervently and persistently for all of our needs. Let us knock- Knocking is about asking plus effort. We may need to wait for the answer but "though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come"(Habakkuk 2:3). See more

01.01.2022 All things came into being through Him and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being- John 1:3 Here John declares that Jesus, the eternal Word, created everything that "came into being". He is God and only God is uncreated. When we look at the world and the universe we get a taste of who God is. He is a mighty and powerful God. He is a loving God. And on that day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ- The creator, The eternal Word- is Lord.
