24.01.2022 The crucial role dads play in our lives shouldn’t be overlooked they are our playmates, our heroes, coaches, mentors and role models. We are so grateful for their love, guidance, comfort and encouragement. Today is a day to celebrate all the dads who know that the greatest way to man up, is to show up. To celebrate the dads who are teaching their children that their worth is non-negotiable. As is everyone else’s.... Here’s to the dads who know how much strength it takes to admit you made a mistake; how courageous it is to apologize. Here’s to the dads providing for their family by caring for their family. Here’s to the dads who are single dads, the ones who are co-parenting, the ones who are married, the ones who have partners. Happy Father’s Day to all dads out there .

23.01.2022 Autism is: Unable to speak, or maybe speaking too much Hugging everyone, or disliking touch Escaping outside... Or trying to hide Excitedly flapping Inappropriate clapping Autism varies so much Won't wear a coat, or wears one all year round Fussy eater, or would eat dirt from the ground Screaming or humming Annoyingly drumming Toys in a line The same way every time Autism varies so much Struggling to learn, or has wonderful gifts Obsessions of numbers, trains, films or lifts Spinning around Throws things on the ground Constantly spitting Aggressively hitting Autism varies so much Alone without friends, or controls every game Always looks different, always dresses the same Swinging on doors Head banging on floors Freaks at the dryer Keeps climbing higher Autism varies so much. Can't answer questions, won't do as they're told In their own world or bossy and bold Over prepared Anxious and scared A spectrum so wide But they all bring us pride When autism touches our lives. Support, don’t stare or ridicule, its genuine, and can’t be helped. Support is welcomed, this could be any child, any parent’s daily struggle, and understanding and patience is a virtue . It doesn't matter how old that child is either. LCD Lifestyle Options supports autism awareness

22.01.2022 The NSW Government is strongly encouraging the use of masks in high-risk public settings to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 Wearing a face mask provides an additional physical barrier to protect the community and help reduce community transmission. Please continue to practise physical distancing, wash your hands regularly and if you are unwell - stay in and get tested.

20.01.2022 Please ensure you wash your hands regularly to stop the spread of germs

18.01.2022 Home care for people with suspected or confirmed COVID-19: If you are ill with fever and cough you should clean hands frequently with soap and water or with alcohol-based hand rub. Stay at home; do not attend work, school or public places. Rest , drink plenty of fluids and eat nutritious food. Stay in separate room from other family members, but if not possible wear a medical mask and keep a distance of at least 1 meter (3 feet) from other people. Keep the room well-ventilated and if possible use a dedicated bathroom. When coughing or sneezing, cover mouth and nose with flexed elbow or use disposable tissue and discard after use. If you experience difficulty breathing, call your health care facility immediately.

16.01.2022 Avoid the 3 Cs. There are certain places where COVID-19 spreads more easily: 1 Crowded places 2 Close-contact settings 3 Confined and enclosed spaces

15.01.2022 Happy International Nurses Day! A massive thank you to our team for all the hard work, compassion and dedication you provide to our clients. You are greatly appreciate.

14.01.2022 REMEMBRANCE DAY 2020 Today we commemorate the 102nd anniversary of the Armistice that ended World War One. At llam 11th November 1918, the guns of war on the Western Front fell silent...... Today we remember all who have served; all who did not make it home, defending our way of life for generations to come. Today we honour every man, woman and animal who has served in hostilities, who made the ultimate sacrifice. We will remember them. LEST WE FORGET

06.01.2022 If you see me wearing a mask in public and in the stores, I want you to know that... I'm educated enough to know that I could be asymptomatic and still give you the virus. No, I don't "live in fear" of the virus; I just want to be part of the solution, not the problem. I don't feel like the "government controls me". I feel like I'm an adult contributing to security in our society and I want to teach others the same. If we could all live with the consideration of other...s in mind, the whole world would be a much better place. Wearing a mask doesn't make me weak, scared, stupid or even "controlled". It makes me caring. When you think about your appearance, discomfort, or other people's opinion of you, imagine a loved one - a child, father, mother, grandparent, aunt, uncle or even a stranger - placed on a ventilator, alone without you or any family member who is allowed at his bedside. Ask yourself if you could have helped them a little while wearing a mask. Be safe people

06.01.2022 It’s important that everyone still continue to do this
