25.01.2022 One of NSW biggest property market reforms to come! If you haven't heard by now, the stamp duty tax is going to slowly phase out and replaced by a small annual property tax. Currently a 800k property needs an upfront of 30k tax, however with the new system in this could remove the initial hurdle but bring in a constant payment later on. Is this going to help younger buyers hop in the market and older retirees to downsize or would the later payments make it harder?
