25.01.2022 Just a little something we knocked up for a rep. This SOG power tool had the main body engraved then was finished in H series Burnt Bronze. The engraving was filled with H series Graphite black as well as the rivet and screw heads. Cerakote isnt just for firearms and no job is too small. #cerakote #SOG #Burntbronze

24.01.2022 As promised a while ago, here is an update on the HK USP magazines. These magazines have now been used on 10 metallic silhouette competition shoots. They show very little signs of wear, in fact it was quite difficult for the camera to really pick it up. Any points that have come into contact with the magazine well have only resulted in a polish on the surface of the magazine. As i stated in the original post. This work was done mainly for easy identification of his magazines..., however, he now has the added benefits of the magazines never corroding. #RAL8000 #Cerakote #HKUSP

22.01.2022 A job we recently completed for a local gun shop. These pictures make the gun appear as a very light purple but it is considerably darker in real life. Their customer wanted a reproduction of a hydro dip pattern called platinum purple. They should be pretty happy with this one. All metal work was coated, except the bolt head, stock is polymer as is the magazine. Coated in H series Wild Purple, Graphite Black and Satin Aluminium.... 21.01.2022 This is the second Perazzi MX8 Ive refinished. The first was in H series graphite black, this time they wanted something with a little more sheen, queue to Elite series Blackout... 3/4 of the thickness of H series and considerably better with both corrosion and wear resistance. The only downside is not being able to inlay some gold into the stamping to complete the look. This shotgun has the entire trigger frame and action coated and was totally disassembled to correctly coa...t all the components. 20.01.2022 So I have been fairly slack about posting up the work I do and I shall aim to post something new at least once a week from now on. Below is a set of HK USP magazines, according to the owner, who is a friend of mine, these are an attractive item for sticky fingered individuals and are not so cheap to replace. I suggested we do a little test using Cerakote and he selected H Series RAL 8000, this is a very interesting colour (the phone camera really does it no justice); applyin...g this colour to the magazines keeps them unique and easily identified if someone tries to "acquire" them. Also you have the added advantage of the magazines now being impervious to corrosion, especially as these magazines have been coated both internally and externally. You will also notice that the plastic base plate has been coated, many people ask how well Cerakote adheres to plastic - my answer is always as long as your applicator does the correct preparation then there will be no issues. These magazines have been used in competitions now for the past 6 months, and none have gone missing. Soon I will be posting some follow up images so you can all see how this coating fares. 19.01.2022 This customer had me coat his sons Tikka T1X after some light surface rust started forming on the barrel during a hunting trip. Rifle was refinished in H series graphite black as well as the rings and sling screws. This rifle is now ready to go hunting again with no fear of surface corrosion.

17.01.2022 Another Ruger precision rimfire, this one completed in H series prison pink on the stock and the forend only. The forend is aluminium and the stock is polymer... both able to handle the heat required to cure the H series without issue. 16.01.2022 A variety of work (security nuts, lock springs, and canopy arms) that I have completed for one engineering company, items are totally disassembled, de-greased, coated in H-146 Graphite Black, then finally MC-161 Matte clear coat (except the springs). These were all being used in a marine environment, the clear coat was added to the nuts and arms to give the H series some additional UV stability. 08.01.2022 A little job we completed back before christmas. Adler .410 single shot in riptile cam pattern finished in magpul flat dark earth, OD green, and graphite black. Finished by coating in matte clear Cerakote.

05.01.2022 This customer had an older Model 96, it had a new barrel but the action had some light surface rust happening. All metal work was coated in H-146 Graphite Black, including the bolt and rings. This seals the affected areas and prevents any further corrosion from occurring. The customer was so happy with the results he sent in some photos of the rifle all fitted up. 03.01.2022 Recently did some demo work for the guys at Alfab Australia Pty Ltd, drive pulley for a marine engine - manufactured by Alfab. The part was sent to me straight off the CNC machine and was finished in H-167Q USMC red.
