05.01.2022 Drouin Lions Club were proud to be able to donate at our last meeting to West Gippsland Hospital a cheque for $7,938 to the Nurse Unit Managers in Maternity an...d the Special Care Nursery. Wilma Wallace and Anne White were completely taken by surprise when President Erika Wassenberg presented the cheque. The pair thought they were attending a Lions meeting to thank the group for donating a resuscitaire and to provide a presentation on birthing services at West Gippsland Hospital. The unit has been wanting to replace the cots for some time but has not had the funding. The current cots are well over 30 years old and are constantly being patched up and repaired. Well done Drouin Lions!
