24.01.2022 - ' ' Combined Church Prayer Meeting 7-8PM Wed 13 November 2019 Awaken Church, 197-199 Keira St, Wollongong... Praying for the Illawarra, the Church and Nation: focusing on * Mental Health, * Evangelism Explosion, and * The Youth of the Illawarra ------- On 1 August 2019, 62 Christian pastors & leaders from 30 different churches came together to attend the historic 'Together for the Illawarra' combined church consultation and workshop. This crucial combined church conference was announced at the Illawarra Prayer Breakfast in late May 2019. The goal of the consultation was to explore collaboration in the Illawarra between all the churches both large and small, Evangelical, Charismatic, Pentecostal, Orthodox and Catholic on three areas of common interest: Community Engagement, Evangelism & Prayer. At the end of the workshop, 3 small groups (task forces) volunteered to work together to formulate the next steps in each key area. Twelve pastors and leaders from 12 different churches from the Prayer Task Force met together to work on strategy. They have prayerfully decided to hold the Illawarra's rst 'Pop-Up Prayer' Combined Church prayer meeting at 7pm on 13 November 2019.
