25.01.2022 Important Announcement Darts Australia Directors wish to advise our Affiliates and Members that due to the ongoing COVID 19 situation and the uncertainty around opening of borders reopening we have made a decision to cancel the 2020 Darts Australia Championships.

24.01.2022 To all our members and their families, We would just like to let you know that we are thinking of you in these trying times and we hope you are all well. As far as the lifting of restrictions goes we will be governed by medical advice from Government and the opening of Hope Inn. Your health and safety are paramount. Please Stay safe.... 23.01.2022 It is with a heavy heart, the committee of LDASA have made the decision to cancel the 2020 Dot Voakes. Due to the uncertainty of the COVID-19 virus and the difficulty of social distancing it was decided to cancel. Our members health is a major priority and we do not wish to compromise anyone's health. We are sincerely sorry for this outcome, however we will be back in 2021 bigger and better. Cheers LDASA Committee.

20.01.2022 Hi ladies, we have also received this from Kadina. Note, if closures are still in place at 14th June, this event will be cancelled.

20.01.2022 To our members, Some of you may know but to those that aren't aware, the Hope Inn Sport & Social Club is being sold. We, as LDASA now have to find a new playing venue. While the committee is in the process of finding somewhere, we have decided to cancel the remainder of the year. We will start afresh in 2021 in a new venue. ... All captains will be informed as to when we are starting up again later in the year. We hope that you are all safe and we deeply apologize for any stress that not having darts has caused and ask for your patience a little bit longer. Kind regards Ladies Darts Committee

The committee has decided that due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we are suspending all games until at least the 5th of May. ...We will keep you informed if this situation changes as this crisis is ongoing and will be here for awhile yet. 19.01.2022 L.D.A.S.A. Committee would like to wish all our members and their families a happy and safe Easter. We are sure that you are missing your darts, however we are all hopeful that this situation will be over soon, if we all stay home and remember distancing. Please be safe and hopefully we will see you all in the near future. Happy Easter.

18.01.2022 SLDA have just informed LDASA that the Judy Thompson will be cancelled for 2020. The dates of 10th/11th July 2021 will be the next Judy Thompson. Stay safe everyone.

18.01.2022 Update on Australian Championships 2020 With the current climate and uncertainty worldwide surrounding sport at all levels the Board of Darts Australia are cons...idering all options available to us. Unfortunately, this will take some time as we work through those options and decide what options are really feasible to ensure we continue to provide all stakeholders with the best options. We are in discussions with venues, Ausport, suppliers, sponsors and the various governing bodies to plan the way forward. We anticipate making an announcement on Friday March 27th. In the meantime we thank you for your support, cooperation and patience. Please take care of each other as we continue on this journey together. Kelvin James President- Dart Australia

13.01.2022 Ladies Darts Association Committee and members would like pass on their condolences to Gary Nicolescu, family and friends on the passing of his wife Chris yesterday. Chris is well known among the South Australian darts community and with Ladies Darts. Chris will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all that knew her. RIP Chris

11.01.2022 Congratulations to Laura Fuller, Pat Monten, Lyn Petherbridge and Beryl Soar for their fabulous 2nd place in Whyalla this weekend at the Carole Veart. Well done girls.

11.01.2022 To all our ladies, firstly we hope that you are keeping well and staying safe....The committee would like to let you know that we are cancelling all games until the government allow us to get together again. Effectively, this season is done and dusted, so we will work out when we get closer to playing, how we will get our next season back on track. If anyone is interested in a game of darts this Sunday at the Croyden Bowling Club, Blight Street, Ridleyton. Starting at 12.30 pm playing with players from the Adelaide Central League. 03.01.2022 Ladies, please also note that LDASA have suspended games for the next two weeks. 17th and 24th March for the safety of our players. After the 24th the committee will meet to discuss if this situation is to be continued. We understand that it is disappointing, however the health of our members are a priority. Please be safe.
