25.01.2022 I am so looking forward to riding with Angie Wicks and encourage anyone that has a passion for training their horse and putting the relationship first to sign up for one of her clinics

22.01.2022 Same goes for the way you speak to your horse

21.01.2022 Takes a while to catch on for some but so glad I learned the lesson

19.01.2022 Absolutely have a great day good people

19.01.2022 Something I’m glad I learnt early in my colt start career, it applies just as much with any training we undertake with our horses. Go Well, Go Steady

19.01.2022 Love how he is following my feel #nopull

18.01.2022 It called integrity !!! Have a great day good people, Go Steady

18.01.2022 This one's for you Zoe Mullens, have a great day, Go Steady

18.01.2022 Enos and Helen O'Neill did a super job on their(as I like to call it) Graduation Ride they both passed with flying colours well done Helen If your young horse isn’t trail ready, he really hasn’t been started !!!

17.01.2022 Rollkur! Rollkur!! Oh wait, it's a natural badass bronc just trying to score big. And did. Horses can do moves that defy physics all on their own, for a treat o...r simply by being amazingly soft, willing and physical in their responses to training. Of course it can be done wrong and I wouldn't condone force to achieve anything on a horse, yet let's give some credit to one that does what we ask within their physical linits. Be willing to find out what those limits are before you quit, while wondering if there was more. Horses have an incredible ability to hand you more than you ever dreamed if you're willing to dream bigger. #craigjohnson #letitrein See more

15.01.2022 Fantastic day out at Margate on the weekend with a great bunch of enthusiastic learners, all grasping "Respect" is something you get on the ground or you don't !!! But also getting a good understanding of what respect to and from their Horse really is. A big thanks to Jo Green for organising and hosting a super day. Even snuck a ride in on a lovely Friesian mare thanks Jo :) (y)

15.01.2022 A good reminder if you come across horses while motorcycling, biking or hiking. Thanks in advance!

15.01.2022 Indeed, not too sure if Squizzy agrees

13.01.2022 We need to remind ourselves of this more often {:O)

13.01.2022 Meet Enos he's an Andalusian x Connemara. Every colt I start has something to teach me, this little guy is no different. I can't thank my many mentors enough both Human and Horse for giving me the knowledge to be able to give young horses a great start to their ridden life.

09.01.2022 I talk about this often, unfortunately in these days of disposable horses it is all too common to start them too young.

09.01.2022 Me and the boy, playing with a task from the coaching club I’m a part of, a couple of technical issues, he’s still a bit forward and a lazy left hind to tweak but he’s doing great, Go Well Go Steady

09.01.2022 Shared some knowledge the other day with Helan and her Friesian x Gypsy cob mare Tilly. Helan had been having trouble getting Tilly to connect mentally in her sessions, she had tried a few things/trainers and found nothing was working in fact getting worse. I explained to Helan that with these type of horses they can suck you in to getting harder very easily, thinking they need a heavy hand to get them to move their feet. In fact what needed to happen was quite the opposite. As I explained to Helan she needs to think softer before she gets harder, and be consistent in her actions towards Tilly. I explained to her about getting in touch with her volume control in order to manage her energy and approach to her lovely mare. I think the photo sums up the outcome of the lesson, well done Helan.

08.01.2022 Yup, have a great day good people

07.01.2022 Bonne having a ball exploring the big wide world

07.01.2022 Russell Higgins has been a mentor for many years, subscribe to his You Tube channel for some very educational and inspirational horsemanship in these tough times, Go Well Go Steady, Stay Safe and be Grateful {:O)

06.01.2022 Wise words have a great day good people

05.01.2022 WoW the words of the previous post couldn't be more accurate for this amazing mare. I got to a place with her that had me saying, time to stop and pause, re-set and start again. I am blown away by what this uber sensitive mare is teaching me.

05.01.2022 Its a hard gig trying to teach the human, but those of us that care for the horse keep trying. Have a great day good people (y)
